Boone's Restoration & Carpet Cleaning

Contract date 8/25/21, set dollar amount w/6mo move in date. Move in date given of 3/4. 2/28 no kitchen/bath counter tops Painting incomplete, no blinds, toilets, gas and electrical no connection due to incomplete work. Brian Boone called and states that the agreed quartz and fireplace (12/29) will not be installed unless I pay an additional 12K. ALL monies, including the 35K contingency, except the final 10% which, by law, cannot be billed until the work is completed, have already been paid out. He said no more work will be done unless I dish out more money! After hours of stressful communication, I agreed to pay an additional 5K and buy the quartz myself (documented). ALL I WANTED WAS MY HOUSE TO BE COMPLETED!! After money was paid (via QB, like all invoices) some contractors showed up the following day. I moved in on 3\9 with no heat or hot water and a gas leak!! There have been ongoing issues with A/C, plumbing and electrical. On December 29th, 2021, I emailed Nicholas an items credit list as per our conversation of August 25th. He confirmed this in his response. To date there has been no credit. All invoices received by Boone via email has been paid with a day's notice via QuickBooks. I have been waiting for the works completion and then the final invoice with the credits. 11/3 I received from USPS a “Notice of Filed Lien”. To date I’ve never received the final 10% invoice from Boone, neither by mail nor via email/QuickBooks since it’s illegal to collect on incomplete job. I email Nicholas on 7/25 and 8/22 about the incomplete work and breach of contract there was no word of an outstanding invoice, simply because there could be no invoice since the work is incomplete and I have not signed off on this project. Still no functioning tub in master. many doors without knobs, unfinished baseboard, unfinished attic, not right office door, unfinished garage and on and on. Buyer BEWARE!!! take pictures, document, document, document! know your rights

Came to give a quote for mold remediation and said in his honest opinion that there isn't an issue.  Other mold remediation companies are likely just out to make money.  Brian didn't push us to make a sale.  Thought he was very honest and helped us save money.  Would definitely use him again!

It went very well.  The only exception is that the workers were about an
hour late and did not call to notify me that they would be late.  It
would have been helpful.  Other than that, the men who were assigned
this project were very thorough, trustworthy, professional, and
pleasant.  They were respectful of my personal belongings, and asked
questions about some items about whether I wanted to salvage them or
not, given their level of damage by the mold.  They worked consistently,
but did not rush through.  They took away and disposed of any items,
large and small, that I did not want to keep.  I highly recommend this
company if you should ever be in need of this service.

They did such a superb job. I have never seen my carpets look this good. They even smell good. Everything is just perfect. They did move the furniture out of the way for me and when the carpets dried they came back and put the furniture back in its place. They are very professional and the price was not bad either.
