Dennis is a fantastic and detailed professional. He helped us locate a moisture problem in our bathroom when we could not locate it ourselves. If I have any future issues, I will be calling upon him again and recommending him to my friends. Thank you Dennis.

He visually inspected my clients home and found no traces of moisture in the areas believed to be areas with potential mold. But Dennis did find that an area around a toilet base had moisture levels too high and needed to be checked. He also surmised it was probably the wax ring blockage. My client ripped up the tile and took off the toilet and low and behold there was the wax ring, partially crushed just as Dennis surmised. The damage was not that far deep but the materials were replaced and the closing went as planned. Dennis is very respected in his field throughout the Metroplex and is a consummate professional and as such, as a Realtor I wont use anyone other than NTX Mold Inspection Services.

It is hard to imagine a more knowledgeable and helpful consultant on the subject of indoor air quality, inspection, testing and assessment than Dennis Butts, the owner of NTX Enviro. In Texas, if you seek mold remediation from a licensed mold remediation company, you are required to first obtain an assessment and testing plan called a "protocol". If you are required to obtain such a document, I strongly recommend, without hesitation, calling Dennis to assess your situation and prepare the protocol. Our potential mold damage was in a small area and we did not know whether we would require a licensed mold remediator. We called Dennis to assess our situation and were very impressed with his clear, thorough, and comprehensive assessment of our situation. At every step of testing, he explained what he was doing and what he was finding. He answered every question my wife and I could think to ask until he was satisfied that we fully understood our situation and our options. After the remediation work was done, he conducted a thorough examination and testing and prepared an extensive report of his findings, which will be invaluable to us when we go to sell our home. His price for his services was very reasonable – it is not often we think to ourselves after a service professional leaves our home "that was an extremely worthwhile and fair expense," but that is exactly what we thought when Dennis was finished. Selecting among the options he presented, we had a clear picture of how to go forward. All in all, working with Dennis was a total five-star experience.

I spent a good 20-30 minutes on the phone with Dennis prior to him coming to our home. He gave me a thorough explanation of his process and what to expect from the inspection and follow-up work if required. He emailed the contract information to me immediately and was able to set up an inspection very quickly and was flexible with my calendar. He arrived 5 minutes early, which, if you're on time you're already late in my book.
Our house is roughly 70 years old and we saw some black/white funk in places we didn't want to see it - e.g. air vents. Dennis did a complete walk-through of the areas we were concerned about, inspected areas I didn't even think of looking, and gave me a very detailed explanation of what were necessary versus nice-to-have updates. 
This is a service business, and you get what you pay for. Dennis is one of those guys that does what is right and isn't in it for himself to make a quick buck and move on to the next job. He spent plenty of time talking with me, educating me, and was very respectful of my time as well. I hope that we don't run into any future mold problems, but if we do I will absolutely call Dennis to come back out.

Dennis was excellent from the moment he answered the phone. We are doing a complete remodel on our home, and after the contractor removed some trim late Friday afternoon we uncovered what looked to be black mold. I was immediately concerned given the risks associated with active mold growth. I began my search for someone who could come out on short notice given we are on a tight timeline with the remodel and I didn't want to continue until we had an expert evaluate the situation. Dennis answered immediately Saturday morning and I explained my situation. He happened to have an inspection in the area that morning and told me he could accommodate my short notice no problem.
