Although there is adequate parking all over the place near my house, service called and refused to continue cleaning my house because of road work beside the house. The manager said there's no place to park, and when I invited him to come over he refused. Terrible customer service!! Do not use them!!!!

This review is based on work completed by the Merry Maids Franchise located at 2910 SE Loop 820, Fort Worth, TX. They are not listed on the Angie's List of Merry Maids' DFW Franchises and so I am completing my review on the site of this Merry Maids Franchise. I found the cleaning services provided by Merry Maids to be "Fair," but not "Good." (unsatisfactory to me) and switched to a differenft cleaning service once my 8-week, bi-weekly contract was over. Everytime, a different team was sent by Merry Maids and the quality of the cleaning services provided by the teams varied greatly. Some of the cleaning teams were reluctant/unwilling to do minor cleaning projects that they claimed were not part of their job. They also broke and had to replace glass panels in my living room. For what averaged 90 minutes of cleaning time for a team of two, the charge was $140.73 per service. As I have shopped for a new cleaning service, I find this charge to be higher than most comparable services and provided me with only "Fair" cleaning services. I found this Merry Maids Franchise to be unresponsive to my needs and totally lacking in punctuality. They are also much more interested in long-term contracts than scheduling individual appointments with customers. My cleaning service was scheduled for early on Friday afternoons, but, almost always, the cleaning team would call on that day and request to come on Friday morning or to inform me that they would be delayed for up to two hours. As above, I rate the services provided by this Merry Maids Franchise as "Fair to Bad" and would not recommend them. In the DFW Area, there are other house cleaning services that provide better services and at more reasonable prices.
