We were under a 10 year parts and warranty with one year left...Original purchase was made in 2004, June. Called them for warranty repair on 07/08/13. Can't get them to commit to repair, tried to get me to pay for a part they say was added on by us. Finally got them to change their minds about me paying for part after referencing proposal and agreement to them.
Supposedly fixed a/c on 7/12 (Friday), but broke again on next day (Saturday of course)
Called them out again on 07/15 (Monday) but a/c repairman on vacation....was told I was on list for following Monday 07/22...no show all day. Finally called me around 4;30 pm to say they weren't coming out.
On 07/23 (Tuesday), no commitment made all morning so I had to contact my lawyer and reported them to Akin's Army (Fox Channel 26 News in Houston, TX).
I then called them and told them what I had done, and finally got them to come out that afternoon to find out that another part was out...... the condenser coils...which had to be ordered from another state. 3-5 days shipping wait...Still not fixed as of today 07/29/13. Don't know when I will ever get this fixed.....
