Jackie called me back very promptly.  When I explained I was in a bit of a time crunch to get the inspection, he started on the afternoon I called him and finished up the next day.

His knowledge and work ethic are second to none.  He was able to explain things to me in layman's terms that I could easily understand.

He took numerous, excellent pictures to include with the report.  The report was well written in a very professional manner and was emailed to me on the same day it was completed.

I would absolutely hire Jackie and Twin City Home Inspections again and would strongly recommend him to anyone needing this service.

The inspector showed up early to the appointment and got started right away.  He was professionally dressed and had every tool he needed for the job.  He worked on the exterior of the home in the 100 degree heat without as much as a request for a bottle of water.  He was helpful in pointing out items of concern in terms that even my simple mind could understand.  He was careful to make sure I knew every detail of his inspection.  He followed up with a phone call after the service was complete and answered a few more questions.  In my opinion this is the only inspector that I would EVER use in the future. 

Jackie was very professional. Arrived on time, then walked us thru what he would be doing. We were there for the whole inspection, and he took time to explain things as he found them.this process took about 4hours, and was very informative. He turned everything on first thing, then starting checking outside. We did find an electrical issue, that if everything had not been on that long would not have found. This did not show in our first walk thru, as we where only there for about 2 hours.

It went very well. This is the second time I've used this service.  Jackie is very thorough with his inspections.  The report is detailed, punctual, informative, and it is reader friendly.  I chose to use him again because no one can match his attention to detail. If I ever need another property inspected, Jackie Sullivan is the man I'll go to.

I'm relocating to Texarkana, Arkansas and am a first time home buyer. Since a realtor or broker cannot arrange an inspection (for prejudicial reasons), the task fell to me.  Having been away from the area for about 18 years, I have no connections to speak of, so started my search on the internet. I found Jackie Sullivan of Twin City Home Inspections on the Arkansas Home Inspectors registrant site, so right from the start, I knew he was "official".  Since I am from out of town, I needed the inspection done sooner rather than later and Jackie was very understanding. Within half an hour, he was at the new home address (he beat me there!). He took me step by step through the process and welcomed me to shadow him. An important thing to note is that he did not talk down to me. He explained what he was looking at and why. After a rigorous 3 to 3.5 hour inspection, he explained his contract and payment due and left to file his report. Just hours later, both my broker and I received a very detailed report, which we then went over and presented certain items to seller.
I feel very, very fortunate that I found Jackie, and know without a doubt I can feel confident about proceeding with the purchase of this home...and when you're a first time buyer, that confidence can make all the difference.  And thanks to his flexibility, I didn't have to make the long drive home, and come back later in the week.
