First time I Called Poor Boys they were able to meet me at the house the same day. As it turned out I needed new GFI receptacles and a lighting fixture. I went to Loews with Mr. Poor Boy to pick out the one I wanted (my wife wanted). This was about three months ago and I don't remember the total bill but I remember being pleased.
Second call was a few days ago as I had an outside light that didn't work as well as an indoor ceiling fan/light fixture. Also three outdoor receptacles did not function. Turned out the ceiling fan just needed a remote. I had never heard of a ceiling fan with a remote. I'm a hick. Poor Boy took the fan/light combo apart and made sure it worked prior to my purchasing a new remote. It worked and we headed to Loews to purchase a new remote but I called my wife and she said there was a remote in the garage that she didn't know what it went to. Yep, you guessed it. So we turned around and sure enough that remote worked. The outside receptacles worked after finding one with a gfi and resetting it. The outside light (which I'd thought of only as the fan was being addressed) was broken so back to Loews to pick up a new one. Everything thing working great and I was only charged an service call and $25.00 for installing the new light fixture. I felt that was very reasonable considering all of time he had spent at my house.
