Post Construction Clean up
Cheryl came out to the house, I told her exactly what I wanted to be done, she gave me a quote. I agreed based on her ratings on HomeAdvisor. She came out but was very lax in her work. There were several things that she was supposed to do that were not even touched. The master bath had not been cleaned as she was supposed to do, I cleaned the blinds, shower, floors, etc, myself after she left. She was supposed to wipe all of my cabinets, base boards, blinds, light fixtures, ceiling fans and walls down as there was construction dust everywhere. This she partially did, she did bring her son with her to clean the higher areas and I must say he was a much better cleaner than she was. My laundry room cabinets I had to do myself, you could see the dust on them. I even ask her if she had wiped down the cabinets and she said yes, but you could see the dust. In the back entry she did not clean that area which I ask her about and she said well, I can get that the next time I am here. Needless to say I was not happy with the job she did at all. I guess I thought going through HomeAdvisor would be a way to hire someone that would do quality work but was I ever fooled. I would not recommend her to do any cleaning. I also would not recommend using HomeAdvisor. It was my understanding the people were checked out and the ratings were actually based on the quality of work preformed. I had asked Cheryl if I could call some of her references but she said that she would have to call them first to see if she could give me there phone number. I understood but she never got back to me with the phone number but just came to clean. According to her ratings on HomeAdvisor she was a 5 star rating, but evidently rated herself. Please do not be fooled by the ratings on HomeAdvisor.

"I did a exceptional job as always. I did everything I said I would do. The only thing I did not do was clean the top of a cabinet because she did not remove the fake florals she said she would do. I told her I would get that next time Her husband was sitting in his recliner in the bedroom watching me clean the master bathroom the whole time. I spent 8 hours over there non stop working. This is my first negative rating since 1992. I stand by my work. Sometimes you can?t please everyone. I would have been more than happy to make the situation right. She never called. This review hit 4 weeks later. Home advisor does give real-time reviews."

Absolutely honest straight up person, does quaoly work and when we ask her to do a few extra things never hesitates, highly recomend Cheryl and her partner Mary to do the job and do it right!!!!! Hard to find good workers I found them here, keepers..
