Bad from start till we let him go and did the work ourselves. We hired Mr Griffin to replace our tub. First red flag was he needed $600 up front to buy the tub, which was 1/2 of the estimate he had given us. But, we gave him the $600 and her measured and ordered us a tub. Brought it out and said it would not fit, we would have to go with a shower. We wanted a tub. Every time we tried to call him would not answer. We let him go and had to threaten to take him to small claims court to get any of our money back. We didn't even want it all back because he was here 1 1/2 hr and did take the tub out. He did not carry it off, we had to. He kept avoiding us and did finally answer and said he would meet us in town and give us $300 back. I don't think he did $300 worth of work but that was better than nothing.. He even knocked two holes in the bathroom wall trying to get the tub in that he didn't even tell us about. We bought a tub for two hundred and something and put it in ourselves and finished our bathroom. During this time we were without this bathroom for about 3 weeks. I do not think he did $300 worth of work. All he did was take a tub out, wasn't our fault the one he ordered wouldn't fit. He wasn't out any money. He bought the tub with the money we fave him and he returned that tub.. I would not recommend him nor ever use him again. He was working as Pinnacle Builders. We found him thru a ad in the Texarkana Gazette.

We walked through reviewing the work and materials on hand. We left. He sent me an email, asking for more money saying he missed a few things in his estimate and said they were almost done. I never got a picture. I sent more and again (after a few Weeks) received an email asking for the final payment so he could finish the job. I asked for pictures and why I was sending another final payment. He said I never paid him and that there was a lot to do. I told him that I would meet him at the house to talk about it. He stopped taking my calls unless I called from a different number. I went home and not a lot had been done, what was done was the easier stuff. It was shoty workmanship and they left a huge mess when they stained the cabinets that I built. In short, I have to hire someone else and pay for the materials again, as the materials he said he bought are not at my place.
