AKIN HEATING & AIR COND

He came to my house and replaced a capacitor that had gone out on my air conditioning unit. He told my son it would be about $80.00 for the capacitor and plus labor. It took fifteen minutes for him to do the work. My son tried to pay and he said he would bill me. I received the bill Monday July 1st and it was for $247. My son called him and he said that was the amount with an hour of labor and trip charge and the capacitor was $99.00 plus tax. My son called another company and they quoted a lot less for the same job. My son told Mr. Akin to come take the capacitor off our unit because he was not going to pay his outrageous price. The other company came within 45 minutes, did the same job in 15 minutes and charged me $106. I feel Mr Akin was just trying to take advantage of us. I would never recommend him to anyone.
