Affordable Furniture Warehouse

I contacted Affordable Furniture Warehouse in search of a Jamison Tuscany King size mattress. I was directed by Jamison to Affordable Furniture Warehouse because they are the only Jamison dealer in our area. We have a Jamison Sea Island mattress in queen and love it, so we when we needed to upgrade, we looked for the same mattress. On the phone, she told me that yes, they do sell Jamison and they don't have the Tuscany, it has been discontinued, but they have another mattress, that is the exact same thing, just a different cover and name, the Jamison Sea Island mattress. We went to look at this mattress, spent time in the store and decided to purchase based on being told it was the same as our loved Tuscany mattress. We got the mattress home and were unable to sleep the first few nights. I contacted the store and she assured me it was indeed the same, that sometimes it takes a few weeks to get used to the new mattress. I was unable to sleep, and I awoke with my back hurting, after a month of sleepless nights I called back, this mattress was definately softer than the Tuscany. I called back to see if I could do a return or exchange. I was able to do neither and told that I would get used to it, it would take some time, that she sleeps on the same mattress and it too about a month to get used to. I did everything I could, but was unable to get a exchange or a refund. At the time of purchase I was unaware that there was no returns or exchanges. We kept trying to sleep on the mattress since we were out $1299 plus tax. We ended up having to go back to our King size bed and sold the mattress to another individual for $400.
