Metro Septic Services

Had a bit of an issue with our septic backing up, called another company and they came out and pumped my tanks (which we just had done less than a year ago).  They said backup was due to some  paper that was blocking a pipe between house and tanks.  They unclogged it and went on their way.  2 weeks later, same issue so I tried Metro Septic after finding them on AL and a plumber
customer of mine suggested them.  Metro came out same day and sure enough, paper was clogging up the pipe again.  But, and this is a BIG ?but??  Jimmy with Metro actually took the time to see what the true root of the problem was, and that was just it?  ?roots??  Jimmy noted there were roots growing in the old clay pipe causing paper to get hung up and clog.  Less than an hour
later he had removed a significant amount of roots as well as outlined what the next step would be if further repairs were needed, as well as what we could do ourselves.  Needless to say, Metro?s prompt service, fair pricing, and actual fixing of the cause versus simply taking my money has made me a fan.  Later this year we will have them out to do a new aerobic system to replace the 30-40
year old system in place now.

Don't ever rely on a single service that tells you you need a total septic replacement with out a second opinion. A septic firm in Princeton Texas had me so convinced that I was facing thousands for system replacement that I put off maintenance. I was foolish. I know a lot more about septic systems now like I have 4 tanks and not the 2 that the local company said. I have a remarably well installed system. That craked lid could have been easily replaced years ago had I done more research. Thanks to my plumber who knew good folks to contact I was repaired and working well in hours. A final long-term fix in place less than 36 hours after the initial problem at a cost far far less than total septic replacement.
