Forney & Terrell Alarm Systems LLC

I called Forney & Terrell Alarm Systems to do some repairs on our home security system.  It is system installed by the previous owners of the house, but when we renovated some of the sensors were removed & we weren't sure it even worked any longer.   I was very apprehensive because I had tried to find a company that would do repairs on a current system that is not being "monitored" by that company.  All the places I called would not perform repairs unless I would agree to signing a monitoring contract with them.  Since I wasn't as interested in that part as I was just having the system up and running, I wanted to find a repair company first.

This company was recommended to me by a friend and current customer of the Forney & Terrell alarm, so I called hoping but not expecting this company to be helpful either.   I had no idea as to what the charge would be for repair and wasn't even sure I could afford to do it.   But the owner, Joe, spent time with me on the phone and understood precisely what I was inquiring about and wanting to do.  On the day of the appointment, the security system employee arrived on time, was courteous, professional and neatly dressed.  He listened patiently to what my concerns were and the nature of my service request.  Then, he set about doing his job and within an hour, most of the repairs had been made.  He even spent a little extra time beyond the hour, trying to find out additional information for my system so that he could reset the appropriate buttons.

I couldn't be more pleased.  I found the service call amount and the labor/parts charge to be reasonable.  The company also does monitoring of the systems, which I'm considering for the future.  I will only call this company in the future for my home security needs.  I believe they are reliable, dependable and reasonably priced.
