A+ HOLDEN Auto/Truck & Lawnmower Repair & UHAUL

My husband took our truck to Holden for repairs and asked  him to determine what was wrong and give us an estimate.  He said the head needed work and a few other things such as a belt and inspection.  We gave him a $500.00 deposit.  He then gave an estimaste of $1899.00 and we gave him another $500.00 to get everything going.  After having the truck a month, I asked my husband to check on the truck.  Holden told my husband he would call when he was done.This went on back and forth for 2 more months.  My husband's health really started to decline.  I spoke with Holden and told him I needed to sell the truck to pay for my husbands chemo treatments and he said he was aware of that.  He said he had not had a chance to try and crank the truck. I had to take a loan on the truck in the meanwhile to pay medical bills.  I called back the next week and he said the truck sat too long and the batteries wouldn't hold a charge and he needed new ones, I said go ahead just get it running. He was aware of me having to take the loan and gave the loan company a larger invoice than we agreed upon.  I was up against the wall with time and said just get it done.  I called again the next week and he said the injector pump wasn't pushing the fuel through.  He still needed to prime and bleed the lines.  I called the next week and he said the pump was bad and he had called friends to ask them what to do and no one knew.  He told me a new one was $1500.00.  I had my brother call him(he is a mechanic) and talk him through what to do.  I called back today and Holden told me he wasn't working on it anymore until I gave him the balance due.  I told him the truck was running when I brought it in and now it doesn't.  Holden said he wasn't playing any games with me and hung up on me.  My son went wih me to pick up the truck.  Holden told us we could not have it until we paid the bill. I gave him the check just to have it over and get it back.  Been in tears all day.  He was rude and smart mouthed and my son had to call him down so he would realize he couldn't get away with that any more.
Got the truck home and everyone could tell the old batteries had never been removed, the belt had no been changed. He told so many lies we don'tkow what he did or didn't do until we take it apart and check it again.  I do know there is already a growing list of the all the things he didn't do that I have paid for.  I will update after the truck is repaired by someone else.

Terry did an excellent job replacing my A/C compressor and condenser for less than half of what the Toyota dealership wanted to charge me. He can fix anything. Most Auto repair shops are still reluctant to work with hybrids but Terry's crew seemed to know all the ins and outs of the high voltage system.

I chose them because they are small and usually you get fair prices with small businesses. He was also the only one close enough where it was easy to get in with the RV. They give good service, and they communicate well.

Everything went very well.  They are honest and don't try to sell unnecessary services.
