Bonnie is amazing. She has been our pet sitter for years. She takes care of three dogs and a cat for us. Picks up mail, security check on house. Spends time playing with our babies. They absolutely love her. Always on time, gives medications accurately and on time. Goes above and beyond watering plants, cleaning up a mess (if our puppy makes one). Leaves a detailed report. Provides updates via text.

The service is run by Bonnie Newsom and she is wonderful. She comes over a few days before she's to sit and meets your dogs. She took notes about each dog and what and how much to feed them. They don't normally warm up to new people very quickly but they did with Bonnie. She made sure they went outside for potty and even brought in our mail and a package from the front door. We'll positively hire her again! Thank You Bonnie

Bonnie is wonderful.  Everything was in great shape when we arrived home.  Animals were happy to see us, but I could tell they had been cared for by a fellow animal lover.

Bonnie Newsome was fantastic with our four dogs, and and security of our home. She sent daily pics or text messages letting us know the dogs were happy and safe. She also went above and beyond by watering my outdoor plants, feeding our fish in our 125 gallon fish tank, opening and closing our blinds as I do daily, and also made sure gates and home were locked and secure. She game twice a day for four days. We have never used this type of service before, we have always left them at a doggie resort or hotel, but I must say my husband and I felt that our dogs did so much better being at home and sleeping in their own beds. We definitely are going to use the services of Bonnie Newsome and Paws and Claws as often as we can.

Bonnie has been my fur-kids sitter since spring of 2013. I often refer to them as "the wild ones" because a few of them are high energy, play driven, and attention hogs. Bonnie manages her visits so that they get the outdoor wild time they need all while tending to the elderly less active but still attention demanding ones. Doesn't matter the age (puppy/kitten to 21 yrs old) or number of fur-kids (2-5) per visit Bonnie has always been up to the challenge. Plus my pack really likes Bonnie and they are not stressed out when I come back from traveling without them.

Both animals need medication, and it isn't easy to administer. The woman who tended the cats was able to do it efficiently and without upsetting them. She also made sure to keep litter boxes clean and to play with the cats. She seems to have genuine affection for pets and handles them with gentleness and confidence. When we returned home both cats were relaxed, happy, and healthy. We will call on Paws and Claws whenever we need to go out of town.

We?re picky when it comes to our furry children, and Bonnie is the most compassionate and loving pet sitter we?ve ever had. On our initial visit, she met our two cats, gave them treats, loved on them and took a comprehensive medical history so she knew their backgrounds and personalities.  Just by her organization and concern, I knew she loved her job and her priority would be the safety of both our pets and home. Since then, I call her every time we leave town. She?s very professional and is great about texting me updates or calling me if there is a concern.

On one occasion, our 18 year old cat wasn?t feeling well when we left for a short trip. She progressively became worse and Bonnie called to let me know and advised me that she needed to go the vet. So Bonnie loaded her up, took her to the vet and even checked on her while we were away.

On our last vacation, we were having problems getting our other senior cat to eat even before we left, so I was a little concerned about her eating while we were gone. But Bonnie called me to see if she could give her a little cream cheese with her food. After putting a dab of cream cheese with the food, our cat ate every morsel on the plate. She actually ate better for Bonnie than she did for me!

Bonnie goes above and beyond. She is a true blessing to us and I will always be grateful for the love and concern she has shown for us and our furrbabies.

I would trust Bonnie with my kids as well as my dogs. She is wonderful.

We've used Paws and Claws Pet Sitters three times in 2012 and are very pleased with the quality of service. Bonnie takes time to not only to feed and clean litter boxes but also to play with the cats. She cares very much for animals and sits for all pet types. She recently helped us after one of the cats became seriously ill and needed medical attention.
We've scheduled Bonnie's services for our remaining trips this year. We feel very comfortable and know our pets' welfare is her utmost priority. We highly recommend her.

I have used other dog/cat sitters, and Bonnie at Paws and Claws is my pick! Bonnie has good judgment, calls only when she need to or has a question, is very meticulous in the care of my pets, and is personable. My pets just love her.

My pets are very cautious of new people and they love Bonnie. They are always extremely happy when we arrive home, not stressed out like when we leave them at a boarding facilty. She leaves a detailed written report of how they ate, activities while she was there and any issues noticed. She is wonderful.
