Matt Kinney Electric

I don't normally do this, but in this case, I felt I had to. Not only was I not a member of Angie's List, but paid one month's subscription plus activation fee solely to post this review after overhearing them talking about having just joined the list. Matt Kinney electric was recommended to me as a good electrician, I called him out and his bid was $700 less expensive that the other bidder a well known local company and I am extremely pleased with his work. He and Mike Burgess not only totally exceeded my expectations for the work but did not charge me for looking over their shoulder or for all the silly questions. I cut in a few of the step lights one night on my own as I just got bored and wanted to see what they would look like. Nothing major just a little on the side, the next day he inspected my work, made a couple of recommendations for the next time then reduced the quote by the amount I had done. I told him that was not why I had done it and I did not expect a reduction, his reply was "I don't charge for work I don't do." Now I'm here to tell you people just don't do that, but, he did. As long as he is in business I will never use another electrician for anything done at my home.
