No one called from the business to say they were not coming and we waited all day and no one came. Very bad customer service.

Great work in general by professional repairmen, satisfactory work.

I called and they took a message. The next day they called back to confirm an appointment (it was Tuesday and they were booked out until Thursday, no big deal). My primary concern was to secure a commitment that they would be able to plan to finish the project the day they came out....at least that they would come with the equipment, tools, and supplies for the two potential jobs (after consultation). I asked for this commitment and they could not, except to say there are many reasons they could not commit. Reasons included not sure the crew coming to my house would check the 'checklist' of required supplies, not sure the job is more complex than it seemed, and more. I decided then I had to get a smaller company with more of a personal touch. Definitely didn't feel like I was going to have a good experience. Mainly I just don't understand why they can't come with the necessary items when I am taking off work to do this. I believe I talked to the procurement person.

The electricians at Amos Electric did an excellent job getting power restored to my house after a storm with damage to the electrical service caused by a falling tree limb.  I called and left a message explaining my problem to their secretary and received a call back from a licensed electrician about an hour later.  The electrician explained the process including all necessary city permits and gave me an exact quote over the phone.  This was about 11am the morning after the storm.  The crew was just finishing up the job when I got home from work in the late afternoon that same day, thus getting my home ready for Oncor to reconnect my service which happened later that evening.  I received an invoice in the mail about 2-3 days later which I promptly paid.  This was a job well done and money well spent.  I feel the price was very reasonable for the service provided.

   Excellent! Prompt, professional, and friendly. They worked very hard and did a great job; one of the gentlemen ran to the store to get me a switchplate that matched my décor and the young man came out and helped me with Christmas decorations while he was waiting for the other gentleman to return. It was a great experience and I love the lights, they look great!

   The only question I had was if they offered a military discount which they do not, but that is a luxury that is greatly appreciated and certainly not expected. Regardless, I think it was a  reasonable deal.

A smoke detector was suddenly "chirping."  It had been initially installed six months earlier as one of four. The technician said it was likely a faulty detector and changed it out.

This was an unfinishded remodeling of our living room. the one last electrical outlet needed rewiring. the electrician came out and fixed it. He didnt feel comfortable taking my debit card number to add to his work oder, so they sent me the bill. I was so impressed by this action, that I drove into their office to pay the bill
Also, their office has a great display of lighting fixtures. This place is a must see for everybody!!! The company currently is open only monday through friday.

They were on time, organized, worked well together, cleaned up their mess and were very efficient.

The work was done correctly and quickly once they arrived. They were late arriving which caused the A/C installers to sit and wait; they ultimately left and asked me to call them when the electricians arrived. Luckily, the delay didn't add to the cost of the job.

Everything worked out well. I have hired Amos Electric a few other times and will continue to use him.

Installation was fine. Workmanship was good. Sales staff in the showroom store were not great but we got it done!

Two men showed up on time and smiles on their faces, eager to get started and right to work. I visited with them several times and this did not slow them down, they were knowledgeable in electrical matters and professional.

They're coming back next week to install a generator switch in my home so if the power goes out, I can crank up the generator. They are a family operation and they did great last time. I anticipate they'll do a good job this time, too. They were very punctual; when they said they were going to be here, they were here, right on the spot. They walked me through what they were going to do before they did anything; I appreciated that. The breakdown of their bid was fine. They are good and honest about it and they said if I had any problems, they would make it right. A couple years ago we were having problems with our a/c; the master bedroom was staying pretty warm. All it required was for them to come out and rearrange the vent ducting up in the attic. It might have taken them a half an hour to do that. But again, they came in and did it and they were gone. They did a good job.

I was very satisfied. They were quick and knowledgable. The price was reasonable.
