Tom Durbin A/C and Mechanical

My system is only 4 years old.  The coil now leaks and needs replacement. But I discovered today from a trustworthy vendor who installed a new system for my first floor--solving my cooling problems that had plagued us for a decade--that the Goodman system was not installed properly; they merely took out the old system and placed the new equipment in the same spot, without regard for the undersized plenum and return.  This placed undo strain on the system, which they believe caused the premature destruction of the coil.   To remedy these installation failures will cost me about $3000+. 

The installation  job went very well done in one day.  On the job, Tom Durbin taught me a lot about HVAC.  His workmen are well trained friendly professionals. Tom  disspelled myths about AC that were interesting.  I think if Tom knows of some problem he will do the best he can to set it right, he is an honest and honorable man.  If he installs a unit for you - you will not be disappointed

We have a contract with them.  We haven't had any problems.

Tom Durbin installed a new 2 ton unit for my upstairs in 2009.  They did excellent work then at very competitive price. I called again because of a botched service call from another company.  Tom Durbin responded promptly and solved my problem professionally.  I think these guys are great.  I wont' use anyone else.  Last year, they also serviced my mother's air conditioner, locating the problem and solving it in a timely manner. 

Over the last few months they have replaced an AC unit and also had them come out to repair other AC units in my building. Bill and the guys at Tom Durbin are very reponsive and do good quality work at a fair price. If you are looking for a company that has employees that know how to treat customers they are it.
