I just can't wait for the house to close then write a review. Tim did such a good job on the house inspection. I'm the first time house buyer and absolutely know nothing about house. At first when my realtor recommended Tim, I was a little reluctant since he only got two reviews on angieslist (though all very good) and his website is fairly simple, I even don't know if he will provide report with color photos or not. 
Tim booked my appointment on the 4th day of my option period since his schedule was a little tight and that's the earliest he could get me in. As a paranoid first time home buyer, I felt like there would not be enough time if other specialist (e.g structure engineer) needed. My realtor let Tim know our situation, so he agreed to provide us the report on the same day of the inspection.
Tim and Sean provided a thorough inspection and I got a detailed report with lots of photos. They sometimes took several photos from different angles to explain one issue. Tim printed the report onsite and explained all his findings to me. I ask several questions, mainly focused on if the problem is critical and need immediately fixed, or it is just an easy fix, and his answers helped my realtor and I prepare a reasonable need-to-be-fixed list for seller.

He did a really good thorough job which alerted me to some potential problems with a couple of properties.

Alliance Energy Service is affiliated with the inspection company that goes by the same name. The President is putting into effect where he wants companies to start getting more energy efficient. There are now categories for energy audits or energy inspections. The company is knowledgeable and responsible. They are knowledgeable in the area of energy efficiency. They know how to retrofit and make a home more energy efficient. They are outstanding.

I am a realtor and I love them. I have used them for 11 years. They are experienced. They are honest and fair. They are knowledgeable in all aspects of homes. My clients spend typically $300.00 for an inspection.

I liked the reviews that I read on Angie's List. When the guy did the inspection he was very thorough. The price was about what I expected.

Mike has done many inspections for me. He is always prompt -- usually early -- and is very efficient in his work. As a home inspector, he has specific state-mandated guidelines to direct his inspection activities such as testing all appliances, plumbing, HVAC systems, electrical panel, breakers and outlets as well as roof and attic structure, all windows and doors, foundation, wood-destroying insects, sprinkler systems and pool equipment if present. He spent a lot of time with me and my client to explain his findings.
