I cannot give AFA Movers enough stars. They went above and beyond all my expectations. Ali was amazing from the beginning. Very responsive, reliable and informative. His crew came right on time and were extremely diligent in their packing, loading and moving. I hired three movers. Eddie, Elvis and David. The lead was Eddie. I can’t say enough good things about him. He was professional, very helpful, patient, and responsible. Elvis was very thoughtful in the way he packed and moved furniture. He has a lot of experience moving. He went above and beyond all facets of the move. David was very nice and helpful. All three took their time to make sure everything was safe and packed properly. They were not rushed but they were also not slow. They did not take breaks unless it was to catch a breath or drink water. I urged them to rest a little, but they know exactly what they are doing. If you can request these three you’ll be in good hands. I can’t recommend AFA enough! These guys are the best movers I have dealt with. Very professional, courteous, timely and efficient!! They crew was excellent, and made it such a smooth event. Moving is normally very stressful but these guys made it go without a hitch— as a matter of fact things went so well we called on them two more times.

AFA was absolutely amazing and awesome! I browsed through Google and contacted Ali...He was wonderful, considerate and totally accommodating for my last minute request! If there was a rating for 10 out of 10, that would be what I would give them! The drivers and movers were prompt, professional experts and awesome! I would highly recommend them and use them again! Hired AFA to move some delicate refinished furniture for me to a clients home. I called to set up an time and date, and what I needed was unavailable. However, AFA figured out a way to have men at my house on the day I requested. Completely went out of their was to accommodate me. The men were absolutely respectful, trained, friendly and professionally packed and loaded every piece with care and did it efficiently. They then delivered to the clients house and the client was also super impressed at the work ethic and how well they took time to unpack & place each piece in its location within her home. Hire them! You will not be disappointed!! Great Great job!!!

I had a last minute request upon closing of my home. Six wonderful young men came to my rescue and got me moved into my new house. They were courteous and respectful and even helped me box up last minute items. I highly recommend this company.

Terrible movers! Will never use this group again! The crew was unorganized, had no leadership and no training. We stacked boxes in the hallway, instead of them moving those boxes first, they went into the bedrooms and moved half of a room before heading to the next. Boxes marked “fragile” were unloaded upside down. Jewelry cases that required careful handling were damaged beyond repair. They attempted to move the gun safe only to drop it off of the dolly two times and then “walked” it on the concrete sidewalk. After 11 hours, the 5 man crew with 2 trucks had not completed the move of a 2000 sf home. Never should have taken more than 8 hours to complete the move. Numerous items damaged due to pure negligence. They “lost” the bolts to the mirror on the dresser that they dismantled. Broke wood and plastic shelving units. Customer Service Manager, “Bob” was useless. He would not provide any details of how he assessed the cost of the damaged goods, was rude and refused to allow me to talk to his supervisor or anyone else in the company. Repeated calls to the Sugarland office managed by Ali have gone unanswered. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.
