After I called Josh to request an estimate, he came out quickly and sent his bid by email.  The bid outlines exactly the services he will provide for our business and how often he'll be coming out.  When we decided to go with Josh the lawn was in desperate need of a mow and he was out the next morning to help our business look presentable again.  His team is professional, courteous and efficient.  We look forward to a long relationship with Josh and his team!

It's convenient. He started out when he was high school or college then he has grown in his business. He is a local guy. We have been using them for years. They are prompt. He sends me my bill by email so when I'm away from home, he does that. He takes a look at things while I'm gone. He is very convenient to have and communicate with. There was one company that charged about $5 less, unfortunately, they weren't as available and friendly as this guy is. He is a little bit on the expensive side but at least I can communicate with him by email and he sends me electronic bills and stuff like that. And, I haven't felt the need to be here when they're mowing the grass, so that's a positive point.

The job went very well from start to finish. We interviewed and received quotes from several companies. Josh with Texas Evergreen had the best quote (saving us thousands), and the work looks very good. Josh is a young guy and actually comes out and works with the crews himself. He is by no means a slick, office sales guy. He has a calm demeanor and really wants to get it right.
He was very punctual about showing up to get measurements and talk through idea. He then gave us a prompt quote, along with drawings for the beds and photos of the plants he planned to use. He also gave us separate quotes for (1) sprinker, (2) sod, (3) front flower beds, and (4) back flower beds. That way, if we wanted to break the project up, we could do so very easily. When we stated that the cost for the back flower beds were a little high, he came up with a very attractive option for a lot less money.
When it came time to install, it did take a couple of weeks to get everything finished, but that was mostly because we live in Spring Valley, Vilage, which has a lot of requirements before a sprinkler system permit can be issued. Once that was done, it took only a day and a half to put in the sprinkler system. We ordered a special drought resistant grass, and it took a few days for that to get in, but once it did, Josh's crew put in over 13 pallets of grass in about a day. And all of the beds went in the next day. Overall, Josh completed a total transformation of our landscaping very quickly, and for thousands less than his competition.
