Mark and his subcontractors did an excellent job replacing our kitchen countertops and backsplash. He maintained good communication with us in terms of timing and job completion. Cleaned up well after completing the days work. I would highly recommend him.

Mark was on time. He cleaned up the mess and carried it away. The job took approximately three hours. My only wish is that he would have used longer screws to give the dead bolt lock more security to the wall.

Mark was very professional. He was very punctual. He communicated with me to let me know when the new door would arrive. He installed the new door in approximately two hours. He cleaned up all of his trash and he carried the old door away. This was the ideal contractor job.

Excellent job

Mark and his crew did an awesome job on a dining and kitchen remodel! We highly recommend them and would eagerly use them again. They were professional, timely and were able to successfully put our decorating agent's plan from paper to reality (not always an easy thing). His support staff/contractors were also well chosen, particularly his tile professional. He was an artist with a complicated tile design. We are very happy with the finished product!

We agreed price up front to remove exiting and install a new attic door and aluminum ladders and readily agreed a mutually workable schedule. The owner, Mark, Arrived on time, with all necessary tools and materials. He laid down carpet covers, did an excellent job quickly, cleaned up and left with the old attic door and ladder and all waste. Additionally he installed foam board insulation to the attic side of the. door. He is very easy to work with. Mark was very professional and great to work with. We hired him to work on some doors that were not closing. He explained that one of the doors would take more effort and explained the process. We plan to hire him again for other contracting work.

Mark Engelhardt of MWE Contracting first worked for us when we needed disaster recovery that included replacement of cabinets (custom built, painted white), replacement of drywall, matching of texture on walls, replacement of baseboards and quarter round, and painting of walls and woodwork. We were pleased with his work, so hired him for remodeling. This included installation of 3 pocket doors, preparation for the master bath shower, tile work (master bath shower and floors), installation of frameless glass shower enclosure, removal of wallpaper, painting of the exterior of our house and fence, replacement of all interior door handles, and front door refinishing. When we had disc and pendant lights installed on the first floor, he repaired the ceiling cuts so that we could not tell where they had been. Mark is knowledgeable, trustworthy and pleasant to have in the home. The people he hires to do their specialties are all lovely. He works well with others, e.g. when cooperating with the electrician to remove the old fluorescent light and install pendant lights. He took care of city permits. Good communication. We are happy with his work and will hire him again when we are ready to do additional remodeling.

Professional and friendly. Pointed out some areas that needed attention and fixing by my plumber as they were repairing my drywall after having my pipes replaced. Thank you for noticing those problems and telling me about them!
