Description of Work: Michael visited my house to look at my living room warped floors, he was extremely professional and did a through check up around the house.

Description of Work: The leaking water pipes damaged the walls and carpets in two rooms of my house. Michael and his crew repaired the water-damaged walls, repainted the walls in both rooms, replaced carpet and also helped negotiate with insurance company on the total cost of repair work. The entire process was smooth and hustle free to me.

Description of Work: Added bull nose trim around the shower to provide a better finish. Job was not completed by previous Contractor and very badly finished. Painted the white caulking in the master bathroom. Removed and replaced backsplash with materials selected by the homeowner. Repainted all the spots in the bathroom.

Description of Work: Replaced drywall on first floor, painted and installed new hardwood floors

Description of Work: After our pipes leaked in the kitchen area causing damages to walls, sheetrock and floors, we hired this general contractor to restore and repair the area. He demolished the existing cabinetry, repaired the sheetrock, painted, rebuilt cabinets and refaced the existing cabinets to match. Additionally he removed the formica/melamine overlay the previous owners had installed and restored the existing cabinets to their beautiful wood. This required sanding, priming and painting. We also had him replace the water damaged carpeting in the dining and living room. He removed an old ceiling fan above the stove and replaced it with a pendant light. He also replace all of our old under cabinet lighting.

Description of Work: We had about 400 gallons of water leak into our house on 2/18/2012. I was frantic and started to call companies to see who I could get to clean up the water. We were out of town but our older daughter was home and she is the one that found the water and stopped the leak. I called our general contractor who was also there within 30 minutes to help stop the leak. I finally had Macro call me back. They were the first company that returned a phone call. Mike got to our house a few hours after the leak had been stopped. My daughter , general contractor, and a friend already had the water cleaned up. Mike came in to check the damage and called me. He told me what a great job my daughter had done cleaning up the water but did say that he would need to bring in some fans for about 3 days to dry out the walls. He gave me an estimate of 1500-2500 to do this. He also later said it would be a little less because my daughter had done all the clean up. Well I agreed to have him do the work. He was suppose to show up at my house around 1 on 2/19 but did not show up till much later. In fact I called him to see if he was coming. On 2/22 he was to be at my house around 2 to remove the fans but did not show up until after %. In fact I called him once again to see if he was coming. In the end everything did get cleaned up however he charged my insurance 4700.00. This was way out of bounds. As I look through the break down of the bill there are charges on there that were not performed. He also overcharged for the amount of time he was at my home. Nor did he in the end take in consideration for the work my daughter did. Even the insurance company contacted us asking about the large amount that was billed. Would not ever use them again.

Description of Work: I had a concerning problem in our new house - the toilet was leaking and the hard wood floor was warped. I did not know if this was a larger problem that may have been going on for much longer (prior owners were not on top of maintenance issues). I could not get anyone out to look at the problem - plumbers said they couldn't do anything about the flooring and other contractors would not return my calls. Mike was very helpful and willing to look at the problem (right before Christmas!) and offer a reasonable solution. Turned out there was not a mold problem - and once the hardwood was removed, the toilet seal was repaired, the subflooring prepped and a beautiful basket weave marble tile (that I supplied) was layed by his crew. Work was done efficiently - over just 3 1/2 days.

Description of Work: They painted the entire interior of our home, placed all new carpet and ceramic tile. They installed light fixtures, bathroom and kitchen faucets.
