The exterior door was the top of line “Classic-Craft Mahogany Collection” and had to be special ordered. We purchased the door in mid April. After waiting the six weeks for the special order, the door arrived with the wrong glass insert. Lowe’s offered a nominal $125.00 reduction off the $3,200 total and we reorder. We waiting another six weeks and the door arrived with the correct glass insert, but the glass was horribly scratched and unacceptable. Lowe’s offered a $225.00 reduction and we reordered for the third time. After another six weeks, the door was delivered. This time the door was unacceptable because the refinish was blotched. Lowe’s agreed with us that the manufacturer had a serious quality control problem and we insisted on getting a full refund. During the entire five month process, Lowe’s was unapologetic insisting that they did nothing wrong; it was the vendor. It would seem that Lowe's assumes no responsibility in assisting their customers after knowing that there were two previous issues with quality assurance and this vendor. In fact, on three occasions Lowe's attempted to persuade me to reorder for a forth time, rather than process my refund. It is astonishing to me that a retailer actually believes they are not culpable for the actions of the vendors they select. At the very least Lowe's could have expressed remorse and apologize on behalf of their vendor. Lowe’s would be well served to post “Buyer Beware” signs on their respective products!

The Lowe's representative was very helpful in providing us with the different carpet options available in store. Once we settled on the one we wanted, Lowe's sent out somebody to measure the carpet install area and they provided us a quote in a timely manner. The install team did a great job on the install and were professional. They also did a great job cleaning up after the install was done.

The guy was awesome. My house was old and the doorjamb is funky. He had to a shaving of the door and all kinds of manipulation to get it done. He was really skilled. He knew what he was doing and he did an excellent job. They encouraged me to get a more slightly expensive door and a better one to last longer but I chose the cheaper one. He totally made sense while he was encouraging me. I did not feel that he miss-guided me but the door's price was a little bit more that I expected. He truly came across as being helpful and it benefited it. I did not feel that I was taken for a ride. He was very knowledgeable. He could not let me get in there just to get what I wanted and then ending up being dissatisfied a few years later. He said things that I had to consider while choosing a door. I was pleased with the outcome of the whole situation.

The clerk was very knowledgeable about dishwashers. They give discounts. Their service was fine.
