Excellent service all around from Vanesa and Frank. Vanesa was very quick to respond to my original request and questions. It was also easy to get on the schedule for my GE electric cooktop w/downdraft replacement. Frank arrived for the replacement on time and was quick and efficient. He definitely has a lot of experience and comfort with installing appliances, and it showed in how fast he got started and completed the replacement. I will use Houston Village Appliance Repair for my appliance needs in the future. Thank you!!!!!

My washer was leaking water, so I went to Angi for help. This company's $34.98 deal for a diaganostic call was appealing, but I ended up wasting more than $200. What happend? They recommended replacing the water pump. I asked whether the washer was in good condition and it was worth it to repair it, the technician said yes. He got it done quickly. However, a few days later when I used the washer it stopped in the middle of a cycle. They came again to check and told me this time it was the door lock that broke, and it would cost another $200+. I didn't think the washer was properly fixed the first time. I asked whether there was any other options, no response. I am dissapointed in my decision choosing this company, and I do not recommend this company to others. By the way, they promised to send me a receipt with warranty info for the initial repair work, but they never did. Not that it matters any more. Now I have to shop for a new washer which will be essentially $200 more expensive than whatever I pay.

"Mr. [Member Name Removed], When the technician first went out on his first visit July 7th, he met your tenant Steve the top loading washer had a leak coming from the drain pump and everything else on the washer was in working conditions based on his analysis that day he recommended the drain pump be replaced and provided you with a quote of $189.00 plus tax which was approved and the job was completed same day. On the second visit July 18th he again met with your tenant Steve the technician did a second assessment on the washer and this time the door lock was broken which was not an issue on the first visit he then provided you a second quote on that repair.Unfortunately there was no other option but to replace that part in order to get it back in running condition which was explained to you over the phone. Please let us know how we can make your experience with our company a better one. I have attempted contacting you with no response. You can reach me directly at 832-405-3691."

Outstanding service provider. Fridge was not cooling properly they came out withint 24 hours, diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and were back in 48 hours with the whole thing fixed. Seriously great service. This is the only company I will call for appliance repair ever again.

Received same day phone call back to set next day appointment for repairs. Received phone call 20 minutes before arrival, Frank showed up on time, did excellent work in repairing & cleaning downdraft vent. Works like new now. Highly recommended.

I hired Houston Village Appliance Repair to replace a 36-in glass stove cooktop. Frank was terrific. He arrived on time and called me 15 minutes before he arrived. He was quick and efficient with replacing the cooktop. He wore a mask and took safety precautions with electricity. I purchased the cooktop from Home Depot and there was a snafu with Home Depot on the installation. I am so glad that I did not use Home Depot to do the installation but instead found Houston Village Appliance Repair through Angie's List. I will be using them for all my future installations.

I called Houston Village Appliance when I came home from a weeklong vacation to find that my refrigerator was broken and the entire contents of it were completely rotten. With three children in the house, I needed it fixed ASAP! Frank came to my home later that day!!! and was completely professional and courteous and honestly relayed to us that the part needed to repair would need to be ordered and could potentially take up to five days to arrive from Dallas. No hard sell. No upsell. He said we were welcome to call around or get second opinions and to just let him know if we wanted to order the part. We went with Houston Village Appliance and the part came in that Monday and Frank immediately called me (unsolicited) to inform me it was in and that the would come over between jobs and install it. Was absolutely and completely professional and knowledgeable! I know who will get my business going forward!!!
