Still not complete. Painted wrong colors. Runs in the paint. Only 1 layer of flooring, not tongue and groove. Tried putting his own style ramp walkway in. Had to make him tear it down and rebuild. still not correct. All but $2000 dollars has been paid to Chady. This is one of his names. He has aliases. Interior shower, toilet, sink in bathroom still not installed. Kitchen has an incomplete counter partially installed. He painted the exterior walls the color of my house trim. Now is trying to ask for money to repaint. Refuses to complete the job until payment. But hasn't finished his other work to require further payments. Tried changing contract to get more payments his way. Bathroom design is backwards according to plans and now have no room for a closet because bathroom door was installed in wrong place. No carpet or tile installed yet. Again, this is him doing things his way. Do your research before hiring anyone. DO NOT HIRE Emys Homes. He has nothing in his name. Not even a vehicle. He uses Home Advisors as well. He's not bonded. Claims 30 years of service and a father's legacy was this business left to him. This room and money is my mother n laws. Her house was destroyed n the flood in Brazoria. So this room is her new home and now she's out $17,500. If you look at drawing, no kitchen window or bathroom window. Bathroom door where closet supposed to be. Now, nowhere to put closet. He had to cut bathroom shower walls open to run water lines because his plumber didn't run them in the walls. Just holes in the floor. Floor joices are on 24" centers not 16". Floor joices were cut in middle compromising he strength of the floors. Refused to fix. But keeps wanting more money.
