Everything was handled very promptly, professionally and I am very pleased with the whole process.

It went very well, they finished the work in 2months. They are very professional really flexible and really upfront. They are very cooperative and I am very happy with the work.

They were fantastic and will hire them again. They did a great job and were super timely. The job incredibly clean and the sub contractor they used was polite and with good communication. They were flawless.

Service was excellent. We had multiple in person meetings with the owner (Justin) before construction started and he walked us through the entire design and construction process. The timeline for construction and commissioning of the pool was well defined right at the beginning and at the end it was pretty much spot on. The quality of work was excellent and we have had no issues so far. The good thing is that we have been able to still call Justin with general questions and ask for general support.

With ? % certainty and as an extremely satisfied customer I can say that Justin and his crew did an excellent job in constructing a brand new beautiful swimming pool & spa in our backyard and in extending our patio, it looks more like a resort now, every thing is to utmost perfection, wouldn’t change a single detail on this. Justin is not only ? % professional and committed and passionate to what he does but has also been very patient with us regarding any questions we had and made sure we are ? % satisfied be it any small detail he does during the construction process. He is always reachable anytime and explained every step through out the project. Beginning from drawing the plan to the end we were together in this and he made sure we were. He treated us like family than just customers. Even after completion of his work he follows up and make sure everything is working smoothly without any issues. The best part is the timing, he completed our pool in exactly a month’s time, and that’s just incredible! Be it the materials he use, or equipments, it’s the top most quality, he never compromises on quality and makes sure we have the best! I would highly recommend “Emeralds pool and spa Inc” to anyone who is looking to build a pool, because you are going to get the best !

We worked both with Joseph and Justin in design both a pool and extended patio with summer kitchen

We worked for several weeks on the design and when we had to adjust the design for easement issue, I was told they would revert with new design.  After a couple phone calls and emails, it was obvious they no longer wanted the business.  Much to my surprise, 3 months later when I was about to sign a contract with different builder I received a phone call from Emerald asking if I was still interested in building a pool

Here are my other observations

Joseph is the owner and was very tough to deal with.  After he shows design of the pool, he does the high pressure sales technique to get you to try to sign on the bottom line.  During the process, he was calculating the changes in cost by hand vs. incorporating into computer program to ensure we got it right.  Instead he calculate by hand and after I told them to take time with the cost analysis, they delivered an updated estimate which was higher than what he calculated by hand.  I am glad I waited for updated cost, because I would have been very nervous with his calculations only to find out he was losing money on the deal.  Not a good way to start the project.  When explaining to Joseph about my desire to get quotes and designs from other pool builders, he did not appreciate my due dilligence, or have confidence with his product, to allow me to do that.  My wife and I  were uncomfortable as he criticized all the other competitors in an effort to get us to sign the contract.

My recommendation that if you chose to use Emerald, deal only with Justin.  He is professional and takes the time to design and evaluate what is best for the customer.  No high pressure sales or criticism of the competition.
