"From the owner. First we can’t charge twice for the same service ( you will get a receipt at the time of payment) I don’t know who put this on here, I don’t think it was our customer, We don’t have a Robert, Stephen or Michael working here. I don’t know what a "square" cc processing method is or if we have one (I don’t think we do or I would know of it). I am thinking it is a rival Competitor from one of the local carpet cleaning companies. You will see a lot of Fake reviews on Google. Any one can put anything on Google reviews. Fake reviews are very widespread on Google Places and in the local search results. The number one Google Maps Review Scam will be something like this : A negative review is posted on Google Maps for a particular company. About two weeks after the post, the company gets a call and is told that the negative reviews can be removed for a fee... typically $145. According to Google, the only person that can remove a Review is the person that posted the Review in the first place. Fake reviews are the plague of Google Places. The search company is reportedly working on improving their anti-spam algorithm, but the status quo (according to research) is that over 50% of the reviews are either fake, or not left by the customers themselves. This percentage may go to over 90% when talking about service-based businesses, and specifically locksmiths, garage door repair, towing, taxis, movers, plumbers, electricians, painters, HVAC engineers, to which we could add bail bonds, personal injury attorneys, and limousine services. It could be hard for the regular user to know this and to recognize the fake feedback. In the majority of the cases the fake reviews are being left by fraudulent “reputation management” or “SEO” companies to get their client to the top of Google maps."
