Universal Air Conditioning

Description of Work: I found this company using the Better Business Bureau's website after two very disappointing attempts to get my air fixed using a home warranty company. Mani, the owner, replaced my upstairs unit, inside and outside, for about $3000. The amazing thing is that I did not have the money to replace the entire unit, so I was going to piece meal it by replacing the outside unit, which had already been installed incorrectly by a prior vendor, but Mani said I would wind up having to replace it twice because my unit had been discontinued and he could add something to make it work with my older inside part, but when I replaced the inside part he would then have to charge me for the part to make in work with the outside part he would have installed in the interim. The bottom line is that he installed my new entire unit and allowed me to pay for the outside unit and give him a post dated check for 3 days for the inside unit. I could not believe it! This took place in July. My units are 12 years. I called him yesterday 9-4-2012 because my downstairs unit was not cooling well. He patched it for $128.00 because he said he understood that I had just purchased the upstairs unit in July. He also said that if I had any more troubles with it he would work with me until I could afford to replace the new unit. Now that is customer service. And by the way, he came out the next day in July and the same day in September.

Description of Work: Replaced heating and A/C unit. He has also performed repairs on the older units in prior years. They have performed good honest repairs as needed and delivered quality service at a good price. They have also replaced two complete units that were over 15 years old at my son's house and at my home.
