STARFISH ROOFING

I was very pleased with Starfish from the first phone call. I found the estimate to be very reasonable. I like the fact that Starfish said I had the same number of squares as my insurance company. Other roofers had varied by 5-20! squares. They use quality shingles and materials. The crew that did my roof was there from start to finish and worked like there was no tomorrow. They did an great job of cleaning up.

We contacted Starfish on the recommendation of a friend. Larry Marino came out and did the estimate. He was very thorough and explained the basics of what needed to be done. The estimate he created was very well documented via digital photos. He had to re-estimate because we discovered that the garage and breezeway did not have plywood as expected, but two layers of shingle. While Starfish was not the least expensive estimate, they were the most professional in terms of the estimate and the actual work. Larry rescheduled the work due to weather and then due to an inconvenient time for us. Larry was the foreman during the actual work. His team consisted of 3-4 full-time guys. The work took 2 days and although the work was finished on the second day, they did not hurry-up to finish the clean-up, but rather came back on the third day to do a very thorough clean-up job. This was a very well-run operation and absolutely good value for the cost.

I know this is the best roofer to deal with. His in-laws are my next door neighbor and you should just see their roof. The homes on this street are over forty years old so he has actually done roofs all up and down my street. There is nothing at all negative to be said about him. He does a first class job. I cannot comment on the price since my insurance company paid for mine to be done.

Really nice man, Mike, said the job was so small that he fixed it for free! But they contract out the interior work and he was honest enough to tell me they would not do it very economically. I would highly recommend this company. Where do you find that kind of honesty these days?
