Miracle Method of SW Houston

Right before my warranty expired the bathtub I had refinished started peeling on the area in front of the tub. When I called to get it fixed the office that did the original job was redistricted and would not service me so there was some back and forth with the new location in my service area taking responsibility for the repair. They finally agreed to do the repair but never completed it. The area they fixed was patched but never repainted to match the rest of the tub so it now looks white in some area's but a dingy gray on the patched area and now my warranty has expired.

I needed to have a bath tub resurfaced, and based on reviews I decided to go with Miracle Method. Before committing to the job I visited their show room, which was located in a building on a U Haul site and I had to call to get someone to unlock a gate to let me drive in. The woman working in the office/showroom was very friendly and knowledgeable, but the office and showroom was crowded and shabby and I was concerned that this may reflect on the quality of the service as well. Despite my concerns I went ahead and scheduled someone to come out and give me an estimate. I was given an estimate of $495 and decided to go ahead with the job, a decision for which I have no regrets. Every single person that I dealt with was friendly, polite, knowledgeable and professional. Everyone was punctual and showed up on time, once they were early, but called ahead to make sure that it was OK to show up early. From the conversation that I could hear between the men who were working on my tub, I could tell that they were paying attention to detail and took pride in doing a good job. Floors were covered with drop cloths and walls were covered in plastic. Fumes were vented outside (no windows in this bathroom) but there was still a strong odor that took over a day to clear out, the one downside to this process. There were no surprise added costs and the final bill was exactly the $495 that I was quoted. The whole process, from the show room visit to the finished product was less than 2 weeks. Only time will tell as to how durable the finish really is, but right now my bathtub looks as good as new and I would not hesitate to recommend this company. The woman in the showroom said that the owners were looking for a larger facility for their business and I hope that it reflects the quality of their service!

Initially, the experience was pleasant -- in the beginning the business was communicative and responsive. After the job, is a different story -- dodging phone contacts, never getting back after calls and emails. For the price of this service in comparison to other providers, this lack of concern was very unacceptable. The experience overall became disappointing. I do not recommend this business.

I recently had some work done by the Miracle Method Surface Refinishing of Sugarland, Texas and was very disappointed. I had the 12 ft long shower floor done along with 5 ft wide seat. On the very first day, they did not adequately cover all untreated areas. Also, the exhaust fan was not properly placed. As a result, when they sprayed fine mist from the chemicals got on to many uncovered surfaces including the clothes in the closet, vanities, Jacuzzi, cabinets and also rows and rows of wall-tiles both inside and outside the shower. This stuff is not easy to clean and leaves an oily residual film and caused damages. The franchise owner, Paul inspected the area before the spraying and approved the procedure. We discovered the fine mist after the application and when contacted the owners they pretended this was quite normal and there was no problem although many of our clothes were ruined. The next day Paul came to inspect the work but would not admit to the mistakes and problem they caused and that, it is always better to take precaution and cover open surfaces with plastic sheets instead of dealing with problems afterwards. The whole area could have been easily covered with plastic drop-cloths for a couple of dollars! However, we provided plastic sheets and demanded they cover all untreated surfaces before the application of the top coat but the damage was already done! Although I do not have enough experience with the quality and durability of this product, I will not recommend this procedure for the home owner. The chemicals are mixed by hand on the back of their truck, have strong odors, burns eyes and the smell from spraying stays in the house for many hours. This franchise needs to have better attitude, listen to their customers and not be defensive when legitimate concerns are raised. They are always busy and do not have time for quality control of the individual jobs. I cannot confirm that all procedures, stated in their nice brochure, were followed. They also need to provide adequate training for their technicians and better customer services. Above all, they need to admit when they make a mistake and rectify the situation immediately. Very disappointing and not recommended!

Very well. Our house is a mid century house with the pink tile bathroom. The sinks are over 50 years old, as well as the tub and they looked it. Miracle Method made the tub and sinks look brand new. The customer service was exemplary.

My experience with Miracle Method of SW Houston was great from start to finish. They sent me a price list on the first phone call, we made an appointment, and it all went great. They called with questions and updates, and the tub looks beautiful!

Miracle Method is a very professional company. They provided a through explanation of their service and products and left written information on the proper maintenance procedures to follow. The tech was on time, friendly and efficient. I am pleased with the finished product and would hire them again.

The worker came on time both days and made sure ventilation to the outside through a nearby bedroom window was contained while the product was applied.

Miracle Method SW stands by their work! We originally had our tub and tiles done in 2014. Recently we noticed some cracks around the tub in the caulking where the tub meets the wall. Miracle Method came out and even though they confirmed this was due to settling with the house, they still repaired the caulk and made some improvements to minor chips in the tub. They did this at no cost to us. Great company and great quality. Highly recommend.

Did a good job for the beginning of the job but poor finish work.
Had them out several times to try and get a good finish on the tile but still had blemishes and texture/finish issues.

They called and we spoke several times but they claim they could not see the issues I noted like over spray and overall finish appearance. I would not recommend them especially for the price.

From start to finish, I have been dazzled by the level of service and courtesy from these folks. I begin shopping for someone to refinish the kitchen sink about three years ago. I located miracle method via Angies and they promptly gave me a very reasonable estimate. However, what with scheduling difficulties on my part and cash flow redirections, I did not get around to scheduling the service until a few weeks ago. Again, these folks were great. Cara picked right back up on the same estimate and got us on the work schedule right away. She was super careful and courteous about making everything as easy for me as possible. The refinishing process needed to be scheduled over two consecutive days, to give the new paint an opportunity to cure. Cara got me the dates and times I asked for and even called the day before to confirm that the dates were still convenient for me. The technician, Patrick, was at all times courteous, professional, and a real pleasure to work with. He called me before the appointments, showed up on time, worked for exactly the same length of time I was told he would be there, was meticulous about his protection of all the other surfaces in the kitchen, and even left the kitchen cleaner then he found it! He had a great attitude, even when having to work around the dogs. I have already recommended these folks to others and will do so at every opportunity. You just don't see this kind of service very often anymore. And I love my "new" sink!
