We recently had the pleasure of working with Living Improvements to create a lovely covered patio for our home, and we couldn't be happier with the results! Our project manager, Art, was such a delight to work with throughout the entire process. We were a bit anxious about navigating the HOA approval, but Art and the team at Living Improvements took care of all the paperwork meticulously, ensuring a smooth and speedy approval without any hiccups Communication was excellent; Art kept us updated every step of the way, which really put our minds at ease. The entire crew was not only friendly and professional but also dedicated to delivering top-notch quality work

Art was our contractor and can’t say enough about how pleasant it was to work with him. Art has a “can do” attitude and quick to solve any issues. I felt comfortable talking, texting and or calling him. Our bathroom remodel is gorgeous and wasn’t a long drawn out painful process at all. They also did the flooring throughout upstairs and down.

Excellent company that is very professional and responsive. We were assigned a project manager (Art) who gave us options to stay within our budget during the design phase. Once the work started, he maintained daily contact (email and phone) and kept the work on schedule. They were also very transparent with costs, flexible with changes requested and respectful of our surroundings. The quality of work is much better than 2 other contractors we’ve used. If you’re looking for quality, this is the company to go with. We will using them for future work.

Living Improvement did a great job on my cover patio project. The did the design, planning, demolition, building and cleanup. We do not need to worry about anything. The project manager did a great job correlating different teams coming in to finish the work. The project was done within the reasonable time frame and based on the contract price. I will hire them again.

This was our second experience with Living Improvements, and just like the first time, it went fantastic! Rick (project manager) and Judy (office manager) are such a pleasure to work with and all of the subcontractors were extremely competent, professional, courteous, and respectful of our time and home. We could not be happier with the work that was done! The project was completed on time and on budget and progress was steady. Rick was at the house almost every day to check on the work and the progress and to check in with us. Even the owner of Living Improvements stopped by to check on the job.

Great! Everything looks new and fresh. Crews showed up at scheduled times and cleaned up at the end of each day so you wouldn’t even know they were here other than the work completed. They knocked off each day at a reasonable hour instead of working until dark, so not disruptive to dinner time and that was appreciated. Only gave price a “B” rating because we did not seek any competitive bids because we knew that we wanted “Living Improvements” to do the work based on our previous experience with them...I think their prices are very reasonable so we no longer look for the lowest price...for all I know they might actually have been the lowest...but what I do know is that you get what you pay for with Living Improvements...high quality work and the job done right. Steve is very friendly and excellent to work with, The owner Brian stopped by to check on the job and to make sure everything was going as expected. All in all, a good experience and a great company to work with for home improvement projects.

The project lasted about six months and work was ongoing throughout that time. The Living Improvement staff as well as the contractors they used were professional, skilled and nice as could be. This was my first time to remodel a home to this degree and I wanted a company that could handle the "surprises" that would inevitably arise as the walls came down. I wasn't disappointed. For each problem, they knew the solution or found the expert who did. The finished product is everything I hoped for and the experience was such fun that I'd be happy to just start all over again.

Mr. Younger came out to look at our house and discuss a couple of projects we were considering.  He spoke with us at length to describe our options and how different options would be done and how they'd look.  He sent us written estimates along with full descriptions of the work to be done.  Ultimately, we decided to do only one of the projects - a built-in patio cover.  Work started earlier than expected and was finished well within the time frame we had been given.

The foreman introduced himself to me and gave me his contact number in case I needed to reach him for any reason.  I had to text him or leave a message several times, and he replied very promptly each time.

They were good to place the building materials where we asked, and the workers were careful to avoid damaging the grass around the work area as much as possible.  They poured concrete to extend the patio area and then built an A-line roof patio cover tied-in to the house roof.  Though the workers accidentally cut our tv/internet cable twice, they were quick to take responsibility and repair it.  For the paint, they had to match the existing paint color of the house, and I didn't have any of the paint for them to use to match.  I don't know how they did it, but the paint is a perfect match - you can't tell where the old paint and new paint meet.  The finished product looks great.  You'd never know it wasn't part of the original structure.

I would definitely use Living Improvements again.

They did an excellent job! It took them 6 weeks. They did a great job cleaning up. They left one pile of trash over the weekend, but they came to clean it up after the weekend ended. Overall, they kept a clean worksite.

This is the second time I've used Living Improvements. Roland handles the outside remodels; Rick handles the inside. This is a great team. I am very meticulous and detail oriented. They aren't the cheapest bid but they are meticulous, super great to work with and very conscientious about their work. They work hard and get the majority of work word of mouth. That speaks volumes. Their cabinet guy is very good! They run a great business, a tight ship and work very hard. Their reputation is excellent! (And they're both rock-solid Conservatives...which tells you their ethics and work value.)

They don't advertise, they just go by word of mouth. They got back to me on the phone and they followed up. When I wasn't happy with the paint work they came back to fix it. Any mistakes or anything that wasn't quite right they were happy to fix. There wasn't a lot of that but I remember them being very attentive when I found one mistake. They were clean, came when they said they would.

We couldn't be happier. They were very understanding and suggested several different solutions for us to look at. We were involved throughout the planning and their work was excellent and we are very pleased. Highly recommended!

Doing my research and using AngiesList, I selected 5 contractors to provide me bids for this project. Lets just say that 4 of the estimates/estimators were underwhelming. Roland from Living Improvements came out and from the beginning I was impressed. Roland was very friendly and had great ideas. Needless to say I was very comfortable with him and his plans for my job. All the estimates included building a typical hip roof patio tied into the house built to match the existing structure and rebuilding the outdoor kitchen using stone and granite. My house is brick but I wanted stone columns on the patio and the outdoor kitchen which is 30 or so feet away. I was afraid that the stone with all the brick between the two areas would look funny. Roland suggested that I remove a huge brick column (that I hated anyway) that is located between the two areas and replace it with a matching stone column (great idea that no one else mentioned). The matching column ties both areas together perfectly and looks great.Rolands bid was the last one I was waiting on and I was really hopeful that it was going to be competitive with the others i'd received due to his estimate having more work included. I was shocked when it came in below the other 4 bids. I called Roland that afternoon and hired his company and signed his proposal. I am not a very trusting person when it comes to contractors, but I was put at ease when he defined the payment terms for the project. Basically, half due at completion of roof and the remaining due at completion. Living Improvements took care of all HOA approvals and work started about two weeks later.Day one, the guys showed up on time and this is when I met Steve, the project manager. I was ready to get this work finished and off they went. Demo was mostly completed on the first day and all carpentry was complete in 4 days. Another day to frame out the new outdoor kitchen to match the space and my specs. I was floored by how quick these guys worked, they didn't play around. Not only did they good work (and i'm very anal on details) they also included details that just give the patio that extra coolness factor. The most impressive part of this project was Steve, the project manager. After his carpenters had finished their work, he came out and noticed that one of the columns wasn't exactly level. He came to me, explaining what he found and told me that he was going to call back the carpenters to fix it. It was barely noticeable, but it was very important to him for everything to be perfect. He ended coming out on a Saturday, jacked up the roof and moved the post over an inch to get it perfect. This isn't the only example of him doing something like this, just the first. Needless to say I was impressed by his attention to detail that he maintained through this entire project. One of the stone columns wasnt up to his standards and he called the Stone Masons back the next day to tear it down and rebuild it.Everything was scheduled so well it would have made a drill instructor proud. Roofers, Electrician, Painters, Granite and Stone Masons were onsite exactly when they needed to be leaving no down time at all. I got calls every day letting me know what was going on, i really appreciated. Start to finish, three weeks including almost one entire week when it was raining so much nothing could get done.So now, i'm typing this under my new patio out looking the pool, with steaks on the grill and I have a HUGE smile on my face. What a great experience, Thank You, Living Improvements.

They did a fantastic job and we are very pleased with the result. They were easy to work with, very professional, and had lots of good ideas. They supplied references and examples of their work that we could go see before we hired them. Everything was done on time and on budget and they were very accommodating of the design changes that we made along the way. We would definitely recommend them!
