Home Security System Service
When I called in to find out why there was no alarm sent to law enforcement, I spent well in excess of an hour on hold. I was treated
disrespectfully, it was insinuated that I was lying, and I was yelled at. This in addition to losing all my valuables. I was transferred from one person to another, each asking repetitive questions that had all been previously answered. I was told that someone would be sent out. I explained that due to the robbery, I didn't not feel safe staying at the house after dark. When the technician did not show up after an hour, I called to find out an estimated time to expect him. I was then told that I would be called the next day to confirm a time and that I should never have been told that anyone would show up the same day. As we were leaving, I got a call from someone saying he would be there about 9:00pm. When he showed up, we smelled alcohol and he would not talk directly to us if we were standing close. He had trouble disarming the system and seemed confused as to the process at times. Because I do not argue with those under the influence, I did sign the document stating that the alarm test worked, although I did note that it worked now, but I had no proof that it functioned properly prior. I've read online about others who have been unable to cancel the contract with the company they sell the initial contract to, even in case of mental incapacitation or DEATH. Given my experiences with this company, I would rather take my chances with those who burglarized my home than these thieves.
