United General Contracting

Very unhappy with the unfinished work on my kitchen and the customer service, so I sent Eli this email and several texts and calls that he has ignored for weeks. This is a dishonest company that takes advantage of single women!! We agreed on a 1 year warranty, but once he received his payment in full, he ghosted me and will not respond to any messages!! This is the email I sent Eli days ago that he will not reply to: Eli, I am really not understanding and am very disappointed by your lack of unprofessionalism! You have ignored my calls, texts and emails consistently for weeks. I have already explained to you that the following work items were not completed or need repairing and you are just ignoring me! I really thought this was a company I could trust to be responsive and keep their word on our agreement according to the 1 year warranty. The work items to be repaired/completed are as follows with pics below: The kickboard under the island that they GLUED on came off and needs to be repaired The backsplash was never caulked and needs to be caulked The cabinet door for the pantry - This is a brand new cabinet that I bought with my hard earned money, that your delivery people damaged, and you told me you would fix it. That paint and wood has chipped off. The cabinet door must be replaced from the factory. Gaps left around the bottom of the island - need some wood strips added there, the gaps look tacky you can see all underneath the island and u should not see that. Last time we spoke you said the cabinet would have to be outsourced and may take a little time, but I have not spoken to you about it again in weeks. You need to respond and provide a timeline/ETA for the pantry door repairs. The other items (backsplash caulking and the island kickboard and gaps) are simple so I don't know why you can't get those done this week coming up, today is Sunday. I just want the kitchen I paid you for, Eli, with all items completed accurately as is stated in the contract we signed. Please reach out to me as soon as possible to complete these items and provide a timeline for the cabinet repair per our 1 year warranty agreement. Yolanda Houston

We could not be more pleased with the United General Contracting’s work on our bathroom remodel. The work was excellent and the job was finished in a timely manner,no unexpected delays. Most outstanding was the ease of communication; our texts and phone calls were responded to immediately. The best experience with contractors we've had in our many years of home owning.

Eli and his company is amazing. His workers are extremely talented. They gutted my bathroom down to the studs due to termite damage and did a remarkable job repairing the damage and did a beautiful job on creating a new bathroom for me. The job was done in a timely manner and his employees are polite and knowledgeable. I have used him for several projects and hope to use him again in the future!

They remodeled our kitchen completely and the results were amazing. They always kept the house clean and always showed up on time. It was our first remodel so we went into it a bit nervous but they helped us every step of the way. We couldn’t be happier, definitely recommend.

We wanted to convert 3 closets into an en-suite bathroom w/closet and weren’t sure of it was possible. United General Contracting made our vision a reality! We stayed on budget and finished sooner than expected! Being first time renovators was stressful, but everything went great! Would definitely recommend and use again! We love the new space! It added value to our home, and gave us the extra bathroom we needed with 3 teenagers in the house. Eli & his team were friendly, respectful, and communicated in a timely manner.

The work was great, the service was not so much. The workers were all kind of contracted out, but they did a great job. When working with the actual company, make sure you all the pricing ahead of time.
