They charged $1600. Found out later that hot water heaters cost $600 so they charged $1000 for 2.5 hours work. However they were prompt and efficient with the work.

We have used Woodlands Plumbing for many years with great service until this year. We had a leak in our bathroom ceiling and I called Woodlands Plumbing to evaluate it. The technician came and stated that I needed a new water heater and the roof repaired. After doing both of these things and spending several thousands of dollars, the ceiling continued to leak. Our handyman cut out the ceiling at the site of the leak to reveal a completely open drain pipe. I could look up and see the sky through the wide pipe! I was appalled that the plumber had missed this very obvious source of leakage that was directly above the leaking ceiling! When I called Bethany at Woodlands Plumbing and gave her these facts and a photo of the broken pipe that was directly above the area of the original leak, she refused to admit that there was even the possibility that her technician had made an error despite the fact that their error is glaring. We also asked Woodlands Plumbing to fix a water line to the ice maker. We had to have a different plumber come in because, in his words, “Someone ran a copper line in mid air through flower bed, through stucco to behind the ice maker. We went over and ran the line inside the wall to behind ice maker with a box and valve. This is the right way to do it and it won't freeze or get broken in flower bed.” He also said, “I would have trouble paying them for doing it improperly.” This sloppy work makes me sad because Woodlands Plumbing had been so reliable for us for many years.

Service was very timely. A little more expensive than we expected, but the work was done well.

See above. The final result was excellent and I am pleased. But, that's a great deal of money for the job.

Ridiculously over priced, slow and poor quality of work. The plumber took two hours to finish ONE sink and the pop up stopper doesn't even work after he installed it. See my picture below of my sink full of water because the pop up stopper lever doesn't work and won't open. He didn't have any of the parts he needed and had to have co-workers come out to bring him parts multiple times during the job. He replaced parts and pieces of my sink without asking me if I was willing to purchase these pieces. He charged me $487 for to install one simple faucet I bought from Lowe's for $60! When he walked in he told me they charge $500 a sink. I should have said no and asked him to leave. When he finished the one sink he said he couldn't stick around to do the other 3 sinks and would have to come back. Needless to say I told them not to come back. I immediately asked around my neighborhood. My neighbors were appalled by the rip off of Woodlands Plumbing. I got two other plumbing companies to come out and make an estimate. They both told me parts didn't need to be replaced and quoted much lower costs. I got a new plumber to come out and do the other 3 sinks at a $350 total! So the other company could have done 4 sinks for the price of one sink from The Woodlands Plumbing Company. Price gouging customers in a nice neighborhood is what is going on here.

Provider was suppose to offer solutions to a drain issue I had.  The service person came out and did not have the proper tools to do the job.  he also did not offer a good solution to my problem.  He replaced the sink air gap with a $10 part.  For this he charged me $260.  I felt totally ripped off.  Another, more experienced provider from this company came out a few days later to offer me some solutions and installed a better quality air gap but he did not offer me any credit from the high charge I received before.  he would only offer me a $100 credit off some further work that would cost $400.  Once they get your money, they don't like to give it back.  They should have offered some kind of a refund off the original $262 charge.  A better company would have offered some kind of credit for the inconvenience they put me through.  I would not use them again.

Plumber was professional and left the work area neat and clean, and so far his work is proving to be solid.
The Company sent the Plumber a day earlier than the scheduled day, but returned
the next day to complete the work, without charging us for the second day.

This is our second time using Woodlands Plumbing-New to Houston in 2013, I used Angie's List to find a plumber  in May of 2014 to install the water line for our new refrigerator icemaker and water dispenser.   That  work was done efficiently, and professionally.
As was true in May 2014, from my initial phone call requesting service to thanking Nick for his work, every step was professionally handled.
The work was to fix non-critical problems...so when the scheduler apologized that they were unusually busy and booked until the following Monday that was not a problem.   I was given several 4 hour windows to choose from, with the promise of a phone call on the appointment day when they were on the way (15-30 minutes out).   All of that went very smoothly and exactly as promised.
Our home is 1988 built but new to us in 2014.   The water main shut-off valve looks very corroded, and was difficult to close when we did the washer hook-up, so we were ready to replace that valve BEFORE it failed to avoid any future bad surprises.   Nick tackled that first-asked if it was still able to completely shut-off water, then showed me how to check this-(shut valve/opened kitchen faucet to check for flow, then checked at the meter out by the street).   When he confirmed that the valve was still functioning to completely shut off the water supply, he recommended NOT doing a replacement.  He explained that it was a $350 job, requiring them to cut into the wall of the utility room to put in a box around a new valve, that the true cost would be higher, as they did not do the cosmetic (wall board, etc.) repair.  He also suggested we cycle ALL water service valves  (close and open) in the house every 6 months to ensure they don't freeze in place. (Great suggestion no one had shared with me before.)
The two outside hose bibs were original to the house and leaky-Nick inspected and quoted the cost to repair each  of them, then did the replacement work very quickly.
Finally, we have a high arc faucet in our kitchen that has been a bit wobbly/loose and, because of the deep farmhouse sink arrangement, getting to the fitting is difficult.   Nick had a tool that made it easier (though not easy) and made it nice and stable, GAVE me the tool and all at not charge.
Needless to say, I will make Woodlands Plumbing my first call for any/all future plumbing work.

We had The Woodlands Plumbing Co. come out to install a kitchen faucet and a garbage disposal.  I furnished the faucet and they were to order the disposal. When the technician arrived to install the faucet and disposal he had the wrong disposal, so he installed the faucet and mentioned we would have received a discount if he had installed the disposal, but the main office told him to charge the full price.  This didn't make sense since it was their mistake they had the wrong disposal. A day after the faucet was installed; I noticed a small leak in one of the water lines. They returned the following week to install the correct disposal and repair the leak.

They came out this week and they're coming back next week. They're extremely honest and they take an interest in what they do. They work quickly. He is very quick to do what he could do without ordering stuff. They called me a couple of times to check on me and find out what I wanted to order. They seem very reliable. I've used them in the past and I've never been unhappy with them. The price is competitive. The quality is excellent.

Called them on Saturday about 3 PM and they were at the house within an hour.  They completed the work within an hour and a half, including running to the shop for the big drain machine.  They charge normal rates on Saturday before 5 PM so it was very reasonable.  I would highly recommend them.  Had them repair a faucet for a broken plastic pipe in the wall another time and the work was fast, good and reasonable.

Although the plumber was delayed, his office kept me informed of his status. Once he arrived, he went right to work and cleared up the clog quickly. The plumber did a great job!
