The Woodlands Heating & Air Conditioning

I called this company and was greeted by a very nice lady. I gave her specifics regarding the toilet and was told an experienced installer would arrive and give an estimate and would notify us 30-40 minutes before arriving. He would also be able to install the toilet if the estimate met with our approval. The installer arrived without calling first, did not know now to install the toilet and gave an estimate of $1,300!!! $1300!!! My husband and I installed the same toilet in our son's house and we have no plumbing experience whatsoever! I called the company and asked for a manager and none would take my call. Horrible experience and horrible customer service. I will never call them again and I do not recommend them!

A very smooth transaction. Matt showed up one morning and Omar and crew showed up the next morning and by noon I had cold air blowing in the house again. This entailed demolition of the upper unit, removing the thermostat and the outside unit. They then installed all the new equipment and hung the duct work. This is a professional operation that was attentive to my concerns , they were transparent and honest in their pricing and timely delivered on their promise. I highly recommend The Woodlands AC if you find yourself in need anything AC or heating related. Top notch!!! Additionally, I did my research (I am a police detective) and determined that Trane is the industry's best product and that The Woodlands AC is a proven company with a solid track record in meeting and surpassing customer's needs and concerns.

This is our first review of any kind, but we felt strongly about the work of Phil Musial (owner) and Brian Jones and wanted to provide some feedback. We have used TWH&A at both houses we have owned in The Woodlands, but this is the first new system we have needed. When providing the estimate Brian was very detailed in terms of how they do installs, why they do certain things, and what they believe in as it relates to obtaining peak performance from a system. Phil also provided some thoughts on improving the upstairs performance during the summer months, which was not cost prohibitive. I found their ideas practical and the entire process was very collaborative. I did receive four other quotes locally, but only one other company elected to come out to inspect the home. Regarding price, in terms of equipment and project scope, the TWH&A was the most competitive and their approach was certainly the most professional. We also have two other neighbors that had installs from them and their comments were simply “you will not be disappointed”. The day of the install, they arrived 5 minutes early with a team of people ready to work and everyone knowing exactly what they were supposed to be doing. Brian was there for the first hour of so to be sure everything got kicked off correctly and returned both at mid-day and at the end to walk us through the new system and features. Overall the process went very smooth and our attic was cleaner after they left than before they started. We always try and support local Woodlands companies every chance we get. Given this experience plus all of our prior experiences with TWH&A, we wanted to provide this review because they are really nice people, who work extremely hard, and do a great job.

They arrived on time and have done a great job installing the unit. They had 5 people that arrived and had it installed in about 4 hours.

I called The Woodlands Heating & Air Conditioning at 8:00 am the next morning. Since I was in their service area, they were immediately able to dispatch one of their technicians, Miguel. He arrived within the hour, probably would have arrived sooner except local morning traffic held him up. Miguel quickly determined it was just the capacitor that went out. He checked to make sure it was still under warranty so I could get the cheapest repair quote. It was and repair price was fair. He had it fixed in 20 minutes. I was completely satisfied with the service I received from Miguel and will call The Woodlands Heating & Air Conditioning for future AC issues.

Our AC couldn't keep up with the upper 90s. Discovered our the 29 year old condenser coil was leaking. Given that the system was using R22 refrigerant, which will no longer be produced after 2020, we decided to heed the recommendation of the technician and replace the entire HVAC system. We called a few different vendors in to compare quotes and have them provide a project scope. The Woodlands Heating and Air Conditioning provided a reasonable price for a project scope that was equivalent to the other vendors. More importantly, the technician who scoped out the project also was able to get the existing system working well enough to get us through until the install date. The install team arrived as expected and immediately got to work. The old system was hauled out and the new system was installed. The did a great job of cleaning up the mess that was the old system--both the compressor area outside and and furnace/condenser in the attic look much better. They cleaned up, packed everything up, made sure I knew how to operate the new fancy thermostat and headed out by 3pm. Even better, they followed up with a visit the following day to adjust dampers after we had the chance to see which rooms need more/less cooling. It's been a long while since I worked with an HVAC company that I felt I could trust. It was refreshing to work with Brian and Omar. I'll be looking forward to their visit in the fall to inspect the system and make sure it's ready for the cooler Houston months.

I had a WONDERFUL experience with this company. I recently purchased a new home and the upstairs AC was not working. Brian provided a prompt estimate that was fairly priced based on my other quotes. He was extremely flexible and patient in helping me schedule a time to install the new unit, and followed up with me the day after service. I definitely will call them again if I have other needs. They were very customer focused, which I expected based upon all the reviews that I read about the company beforehand.

But, last week we all agreed it was time to “let it go”. Miguel and his installation crew, led by Omar, had everything out, replaced and running smoothly in about 4 hours! We are thrilled with our new Trane variable speed system. TOP NOTCH PEOPLE!
