"Thank you for the wonderful comments. We appreciate your business."
The kitchen looks bright and new again thanks to The Residence Doctor! The entire experience was a pleasant one because of the work quality and the excellent customer service provided by one and all persons we dealt with during our remodelling project.
When seeing the bill, we asked George at The Residence Doctor, for a description of the work, the amount of time (man-hours) spent on the job and a copy of electrical permits or proof that the work was done by a and quot;licensed electrician.and quot; In the past three weeks, my wife and I have called George the owner a number of times - we have not had calls returned, have only spoken to him once, George promised to send a description of the work about 10 days ago (still not here!) He has not told us if the work was done by a licensed electrician - I have yet to get any evidence that the work was done by a licensed electrician. I have asked for a copy of electrical permits and the name of the license electrician that should have done the work.
At this point, it is clear that this company is unresponsive to this paying customer, Priced very high (in my opinion), and does not follow up as George promised. (I truly believe that The Residence Doctor aligns his services with realtors, and, as such, feels that he does not need to be responsive to the end customer.) Very, very unprofessional.
I would never use this company for repair or contracting services in the future - it just isn't worth the aggravation!
"The Residence Doctor was contacted by a realtor, on May 17, 2012 to complete electrical repairs listed on an inspection report for one of her clients. The sale of the home was closing on May 22, 2012. We completed the repairs on May 18, before the required closing date for the sale of the residence. She approved the scope and sequence of work to be done as well as the price for the work. Once we knew of the customer's concerns, The Residence Doctor set up a meeting at the customer's request to review all work with a licensed electrician. A meeting was set on July 17 for the member, The Residence Doctor, and the electrician. The electrician approved that all work had been done to code. Today, July 20, she met at The Residence Doctor's office to receive a letter with information they requested as well as a detailed invoice for the work done. She paid the invoice and thanked us."
