Floors scrubbed, stained, and sealed with industrial warehouse for heavy traffic.  Worked performed on time and on budget.  Matthew and Mike were professional and knew how to do the job right.  Have also seen their work in our friends' beautiful luxury homes and patios.  Would not hesitate to recommend them for commercial or residential use -- especially for new construction and all types of patios.  They work within the greater Houston area and are located near the Woodlands.

In September I had a stained and patterned concrete contractor from the local area pore several concrete slabs at the side of our house as well as pore a new driveway and walkway.  The slabs were then stamped and stained.  This contractor was very unprofessional, and made several mistakes that left the slabs with release powder trapped under the color and clear coat.  Within days these places looked dry and inferior compared to the rest of the slabs.  Within weeks these areas were coming up leaving the underlying concrete exposed.  I tried for several weeks to have the concrete contractor come back out to repair the areas.  His response was that it would cost him a couple of thousand dollars to remove the old clear coat and repair the slabs. I stressed that the problem was his and continued trying to get him out to correct it.  He finally stopped taking my calls and after a few weeks I knew he was simply walking away from the job.
I found Matthew Taylor (Peyton and Associates) in the area and requested he come out and see if he could fix the problem.  Matthew was at my house within an hour looking at the slabs.  After surveying the situation Matthew took measurements and said he would research the best way to handle the situation and get back with me.  Two days later Matthew had an estimate of just over $3,000 to totally overhaul the project.  The correction involved sanding, grinding, power washing, testing several different colors of stain, applying the final choice then reapplying two coats of the clear finish.  The final product not only took care of the flawed areas from the previous contractor but looked much more professional and artistic than the original job. Although this was money on top of what should have been a completed job by the original contractor, it was money well spent to finally get the job I had originally wanted.
I have nothing but the highest praise for Matthew and Mike (who did alot of the hands on work) as well as the other two young men that helped them out.  They have lived up to there word when they said to call if anything needed additional attention.  One area of the clear coat had gotten wet before totally drying and after a couple of days had a yellow tent to it.  I called them about the problem and Mike was out with his crew the next day to refinish that area.
Peyton and Associates not only did superior work they took the time to tape and mask all areas to protect them from overspray, something the original contractor never took the time to do.  They are ontime, courteous, and professional.  If I ever need stained concrete again I have found a company that I will use without reservation.  I only wish I had found them a few months earlier.
