He sold the job on providing a 36" log set. He provided a 24" set. When confronted with the discrepancy, he said he would refund the $200 difference or replace the logs. I chose the $200. After numerous contacts from me to him, I gave up. Eventually I purchased a set of the right sized logs but still have the smaller burner. This contractor is NOT to be trusted with your money.

We were forced to file suit against this contractor because he would not finish the job correctly. When we withheld payment until completed, he filed a lien against our home. We hired an attorney and won treble damages in court including having the lien removed. We will recover what was paid to him in good time. The cost of repair to fix all of the mistakes has been expensive to say the least.
