Somer is the absolute best realtor in Houston. We bought our home with her 5 years ago after meeting her at an open house that we stopped by on a whim. She was professional and everything went smooth with that purchase so she was our first call when it came time for us to sell. She was flexible and worked with us to set a meeting time for the initial meeting. We had to reschedule several times due to my work schedule and she was able to accommodate each time. She arrived at our home well researched and with a strong knowledge of the market in our area, greater Houston, and the market at this time of year / in this economy (September - October time frame). We took her advice on pricing (which was more than we initially thought we could get for the home), and listed our house on 9/12, by 9/26 we had over 15 showings and two full-price offers on the table. The marketing campaign that she launched when our listing went live was very effective. Once under contract, we had a few issues come up on the home inspection. Somer was able to reach out into her network to suggest contractors who were able to repair the issues quickly and professionally. This was a huge help for us and kept the stress levels low. She explained each step of the sale process clearly and ensured that we always knew what to expect. Closing went smoothly, and throughout this process, she was constantly available to my wife and I, including weekends and evenings. Somer was the listing agent when I purchased my first home. She was so professional and kind that when it came time to sell that same home, I decided to go with Somer! As a buyer's agent (my agent) she was so attentive to my needs/wants, she was professional but fought hard for me when it came time to negotiating. She was patient as we flipped flopped ideas around, she was very knowledgeable of the areas we were searching in and even went out of her way to find some information on a town well outside of Houston. Somer is truly a family member to us now, she even checked in on my family when Hurricane Harvey rolled through. I will never use another realtor as long as Somer is still in the business, when she retires I will have to stay in that house forever!

Somer was recommended to us in May 2013, when my soon-to-be husband and I were seeking a rental home. Once we contacted her, she immediately took the lead in finding homes for us, and setting us appointments to visit. She visited 6 different rental homes with us until we finally settled on one. We were so impressed by her willingness to work so hard to find us the right house, though she would make little commission off of a rental home. In February 2014, we contacted Somer to let her know that we wanted to buy a home during the summer, when our one year lease ended. We told her the area we were seeking, and what we were looking for in a home. We just wanted to give her a heads up that we intended to use her for the purchase, but didn’t expect to start looking until April or May. Well within a week of contacting her, Somer sent us a home that had everything we were looking for. Better yet—the seller didn’t want to close until the end of May, so it perfectly fit our timeline to move at the end of our lease! We looked at the home and immediately put in our offer. It was accepted the next day, and we couldn’t have been more thrilled! The closing process with our seller became rather difficult, but Somer was there as a great mediator every step of the way. Even after we closed, she followed up with us to make sure the seller followed through with repairs she had committed to that had not been done correctly yet. Somer’s approachability, sincere attitude, and always on-top-of-things work ethic made our home leasing and buying experience so much easier and more enjoyable. Since buying our home, we have recommended Somer to three friends and they have all had similar amazing experiences. Of course we have real estate agent friends that we could recommend, but we keep telling people about Somer because she honestly does an amazing job!
