Beth was very easy to work with and listened to what I wanted to achieve in our new home which was built in the early '90's. She was very responsive to my initial contact and gave me several recommendations and professionals (tile, painters, granite fabricators etc) to contact as I did each project. About a month later after using the painters and tile professionals recommended by Beth in our powder bath remodel we decided to just get all main living areas done. Beth guided me throughout the project on design ideas, paint colors etc. She went tile and granite shopping with me to help coordinate and even went back to mark off a section of granite for the fabricator to use as the backsplash for the stove (which was Beth's recommendation that I love). Beth was accessible via phone and texting for input on multiple occasions. I highly recommend Beth with Second Glance Design. She will work with you as much or little as needed.

The services Beth provides were exactly what I was looking for. She came to my home to establish the atmosphere and look I wanted, determined my budget, provided pictures/samples to choose from, coordinated the work with various trusted businesses, did site checks during the process, coordinated payment, and generally ensured all went according to plan. It was a stress-free, enjoyable renovation. Some particular things I was very pleased with are as follows: * Beth has a great sense of how things will come together in terms of colors, compatibility of materials/textures, and overall style. * She has relationships with multiple vendors, which took the guesswork out of finding good people myself. Additionally, they provide discounts to her which meant my overall costs were lower. * She coordinated site visits with the vendors to obtain their input and written estimates prior to the work being done. * She did the shopping for tile and paint. For those of you who, like me, hate shopping, this was great. If you prefer, you can shop or she will go with you. * She called each morning to ensure work was started on time, then came to my home during each work day to inspect the process and final product. * The vendors and craftsmen she recommended were all punctual, professional, courteous, and skilled. * I was initially going to get the fireplace and flooring done and do the kitchen and stairs later. Due to her expertise and vendor relationships, I was able to have the kitchen and stairs done as well, all within my budget for the fireplace and flooring. * Beth went above and beyond what I expected from her and was excited to see things come together well. I felt she was heavily invested in my wellbeing and satisfaction throughout the process. She even bought me a bird feeder as a parting gift based on an offhand comment I made about liking to see birds in my backyard. * She was immediately available by phone and text throughout the renovation. There was no waiting or uneasiness and there were no uncomfortable situations.

I was very pleased with Beth's consultation. She is professional and easy to work with. She suggested how I could use the furniture, etc. that I had. We rearranged the living room furniture into a more workable plan. Later that evening she sent me a summary of everything we had discussed. Beth will direct you to other merchants for services, products, etc. if you wish. She is not a high-pressure sales person trying to sell you everything under the sun, however. I appreciated that.

Beth is hands down the BEST in the business! I contacted her for a consultation when we first purchased our home in 2014. By the time she left she had actually SAVED me money! I was determined to get rid of a few pieces of furniture and purchase new, but Beth gave me a great idea on how to repurpose that furniture. Fast forward and year and half, I called her back out to finish what we had started. At the end of our session I pulled my checkbook out to pay her and she reminded me that I had a $10 credit for over payment A YEAR AND A HALF prior that I had totally forgotten about. If this doesn't speak to her character and professionalism, I don't know what does! She walked me through every step of the decoration process. She made sure to stay within my budget, she was honest on selections that looked great together and those that didn't look so great together. If I was too busy to shop, she did it for me! I love this woman! She is truly amazing! I highly recommend her for all of your decorating needs, when she says no job is too big or too small, she means it. Every single time someone new walks in my house, the feedback I get is one of two things, "OMG, your house looks amazing!" or "Geeze, it's like it's staged! I need my house to look like this!" If you're on the fence about calling Beth, get off the fence and call her!

Beth was a lot of fun to work with! She is energetic and had a lot of ideas on how to bring out the best features of my home - niches, transoms, arches, and a recessed ceiling. My husband and I had painted a few "sample" patches on our walls, so Beth and I had a starting point of what I liked, what I didn't like, and what I was trying to achieve. We went through the color samples that were similar but ohhh, so NOT similar, to the samples I had on my walls, and picked out two that will be great. She also gave me idea on how to give some color pops and warmth to my homes. More importantly, the tips she gave me on how to handle the architectural details of my home were opposite of what I had in mind - saving me from turning my accents into eyesores! She gave me a lot of great tips in our hour together - I can't wait to get started and pretty up these white walls!

Beth was very nice and starting observing my style since she walked into the gate of my house looking at the space outside and inside. She provided a lot of good information about light and paint colors and how my current pieces would fit with what I envision the final room to be. Overall, if you are just starting to design your house and need that extra professional insight, I would recommend her. I am now comfortable with picking out pieces for my bedroom and living room without feeling "I will mess up."

Beth is wonderful. She worked well within my budgetary restraints and provided excellent advice for all my decorating needs. I dragged her all over the house, and even outside, for recommendations on this and that, but relied most heavily on her design services for my family room and the custom window treatments in the main area of the house. I am so glad that I gave up trying to do everything on my own and got some help with this main focal point in my home. I couldn't have done it without her. The window valances alone are worth every cent spent. Beth did all the leg work and found coordinating fabrics from two sources that work beautifully in my home. She is so generous with her time that she provided consultation services through phone, photo and text when she was ill and unable to join me at a furniture store. She really went above and beyond in so many ways, and it all shows in the beautiful end result. It was a pleasure working with her and I highly recommend her services.

Beth is amazing! She spent about an hour with me for the initial consultation. She came prepared with paint samples, explained things about paint that I didn't even know! She's not pushy and totally lets you make the decision on what it is your wanting while giving helpful guidance and suggestions at the same time. I'm looking forward to working with her and seeing the finished product of what she does with our new home!

She will do however much or little you would like. I chose to have her do the shopping without me, so she purchased things, brought them to my house and let me choose the things I liked. It saved me so much time and confusion trying to do it myself! I did go with her to choose the artwork for above my fireplace. She decorated my family room, kitchen, dining room, master bath and entryway. She also gave me great ideas for the other rooms that I wasn't quite ready to tackle. She is so easy to work with, she purchases things at discounts and finds really great buys! I have received so many compliments on her work! I would definitely recommend her! She will also take what you have and use that as well. The price I quoted, $3500 included all of the decorations as well as her time. It was a great experience!!

Beth spent at least an hour with me, going room-by-room through my house to determine its condition. She offered her professional opinion on what changes we would need to make to sell our house for top dollar. I liked how Beth has specializes in staging and decorating, so she could offer suggestions about furniture placement, colors, updates and upgrades to the house, etc. By that evening, I had a 5-page report in my hand covering all the suggestions she had discussed with me. I don't know how she remembered every detail, but she did! Although we have a lot of work to do to properly prepare our house, I feel much better having an organized list of things to do. Beth takes much of the anxiety out of the preparation. She can also help with choosing paint colors, carpeting, and further staging as we get closer to putting our house on the market. I think Beth's service was well worth the money paid to date and I would like to use her services in the future to further prepare our house for sale.
