I've used Mike at Ripple pools since we first moved into our new house 18 months ago. I knew absolutely nothing about pools or their maintenance, and had dealt initially with some of the bigger companies, but always found their service and responsiveness to be lacking.
Mike has been incredible - our first experience last spring involved one of the boards that controlled our salt cell. It wasn't working, but of course, when he arrived it started working fine. He gave us his number and said that when it went out to give him a call, and he'd come over to look at it. Sure enough, it went out early that evening, and Mike was over in 30 minutes. Rather than sell us a new part, he fixed the old one and saved us lots of money.
Since that time, he is the only person I trust around my pool. He has replaced spa lights, fixed robots, cleaned filters, fixed heaters and so on. He even got involved, and supported me, when my home warranty company said the failure of the pool heater was due to something that wasn't covered (and their agent wanted $900 to fix it) - Mike found the part that was broken, and replaced it for less than $200, and supported me when I made a claim against the home warranty company.
He has been extremely fair in his dealings with us. I can honestly say that I trust Mike 100%, and have no problem recommending him (and have!)
