I called to ask how I go about getting an estimate for having some remodeling work done in a bathroom. First, the person was not sure if they worked in The Woodlands. Then, I was told they were pretty busy, and could not even get me on the schedule to do an estimate. It must be great to be too busy even to give potential customers a proposal. Eventually, they will run out of work, but in the meantime, how much are their prices going to be inflated, as they are busy? It is not only this company who gave me similar answers. One company even told me it would be four weeks before they could get to me to look at the job, a further two weeks after visiting my house before an estimate would be ready, and then possibly up to two months before commencing any work. Hopefully, they might finish before Christmas! Rant over.

Rodrigo De La Garza (RDLG. LLC) was very prompt in responding to our request for a quote to remodel our master bath. Unlike other remodelers we talked to, he was very open to our suggestions and ideas. We spent a lot of time looking at pictures on HOUZZ and sharing ideas. This helped Rodrigo get a sense of what we were looking for. After these discussions Rodrigo brought to our home an architectural drawing and samples of tile, mosaics, granite and paint. We liked this because it did not require us to go searching for materials. We did meet at a granite company to look at granite but we already had a color scheme in mind so it was not difficult to pick out a piece of granite. Rodrigo took care of ordering all the materials, including faucets, tub and shower glass. Once the project was started it moved along quickly. We did have a period of time where project was delayed because we had to wait for the granite to be cut. The granite company was very busy and they could not measure for the granite counters until the cabinets were completed. Both Rodrigo and the contractors were open to questions/concerns during the construction. The contractors arrived on time every day and cleaned up prior to leaving at the end of the day. It did take a little longer than originally planned but was not too much of an inconvenience. Overall it was a grest experience and we would definitely recommend RDLG, LLC.
