After contacting several contractors in the Woodlands area, we selected Primo Outdoor Living to build a new construction covered patio. Primo was quick to respond to our initial request and provided a detailed and professional construction plan along with a 3-dimensional model of what the finished project would look like. Kevin (owner) and his team were able to quickly answer any questions that we had and provided a quotation within 2 days. Primo handled all the inspections and permits required for the Woodlands Association approval. We are 100% completely satisfied with the work and responsiveness of Primo Outdoor Living. They finished the project on time, and they were completely transparent with all aspects of the construction. In our opinion, Primo has an outstanding team that completed the project as agreed on. The Primo construction crew were dependable and arrived early to start the project.

Our experience with Primo Outdoor was top-notch! We ultimately chose to go forward with Primo because of Kevin’s professionalism and willingness to create exactly what we had in our mind’s eye. Here’s our story: We initially sought out several quotes from various companies and quickly realized that we needed to save some more money to accomplish what we wanted to do. A few months went by and I reached back out to Kevin, he remembered our previous meeting and was more than willing to revisit our home and discuss the quote. Kevin spent several hours with me and on his own modeling our kitchen on his laptop and experimenting with slight modifications to make it the best fit possible. Financially, Primo wasn’t the lowest nor the highest quote and we preferred this. What set them apart was Kevin offering payment terms that made us comfortable spending the money. With regards to permitting and dealing with the township, Kevin took the lead and made the whole process very painless. I wasn’t too worried about approval, but it’s really nice to have a pro make everything happen without roadblocks or speedbumps. When the work got started, his men were pros as well. Every day, I would come home and check out the progress and being anal I would see some minute detail that I wasn’t quite sure about. But I never said anything and by the next day they had always remedied my concerns. It was very refreshing actually! The nicest surprise was that the workers tried to keep my yard as clean as they could. They never left trash on the ground. The scrap material was collected each day and Kevin’s clean-up crew at the end of the process did an amazing job. Every little piece of cut-off material or sliver of stone was removed. Given that I have children and dogs running in the yard, this really meant a lot to me that no one would get hurt in the weeks to come. The finished product is everything we hoped it would be. During the walkthrough, Kevin was very forthcoming and honest about some damage his men were responsible for while acid washing the stone. The damaged items were fully replaced the next day. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the process and the outcome. We would not hesitate to use Primo again and feel very comfortable recommending this company and Kevin to you.
