I had dead zoysia from the heat/drought during July 2015. 2 reps from this company convinced me that the grass could be replaced during 1st week in August heat! It was stupid of me, but I accepted trusting that these were experts. Sure enough, the heat killed that new grass within weeks. The patches looked WORSE than what they replaced.
The only reason why I am not giving them an F is because at least they returned my calls and showed up giving me advise on how to make it survive the heat: essentially, keep watering. Well, I watered and watered and it didn't work. A total waste of money.
A true expert would not advise a customer to put zoysia sod in the middle of a drought in August. I was stupid enough to trust them and they took my money.
However, Texas Native Landscape did not pay their own vendors/contractors for work performed/materials ordered on our project. In addition, this owner does not honor his own written warranties which was the main reason we went with this company (the written warranties). Claimed on his promo materials to be a member of the BBB, but upon investigation is not.
Finally honored the 1 year dead plant warranty only after beginning potential legal action for a classic bait and switch tactic; however, this company will not honor the 5 year written concrete warranty against cracking. We are still trying to communicate with this company to get a full resolution for the cracking conrcrete that not only has cracks throughout our patio but also large holes in the concrete steps.
We are given answers that vary from - "we are using a new concrete company" "we have a new manager" "we will come out and look at it" "we will get back to you" "we will come this weekend"
This has been going on for 2 years. We will be contacting an attorney to seek further resolution requiring them to honor their work and the written warranties provided at the time of the sale.
