Majestic Air Conditioning

Majestic was responsive. They came when they said they would and completed the entire job in one day. They took care to protect the floors and wear booties when we asked them to. The supervisor came by to inspect the work.

Quote / bid process was very professional by Majestic sales rep. Mr. David Weems. He was punctual, prepared and professional. He was the only rep. of the three companies solicited that physically inspected my existing unit, the inside of the home and checked my math for the size and type of furnace needed (BTUs, etc). Bid and cost was fair and in-line with competitors. Installation was completed the next day and in professional manner. No issues. Majestic is now my HVAC company going forward.

From then my air conditioning unit is working very well. They were very excellent.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Majestic AC. They came highly recommended from a good friend. They beat the price of my next highest bid on a TRANE XR16 4 TON system by just over $4,000 and were exactly 1/2 the price of my highest big. Their installation was very professional, everyone I dealt with was very courteous and anxious to help and their techs and installers were extremely well trained and knowledgeable. I am very happy with choice of the TRANE XR 16 system and my experience with Majestic Air Conditioning. If you are considering a new system installation, be sure to get a proposal from them before making a decision. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent service. Justin came and did a full evaluation (3 hours) to make sure we were quoted the best system for our needs. His price was better than others and we got a better system than others quoted us. They showed up on time, finished early, cleaned up, and then explained everything in detail. I hired this company because my regular a/c guy was overwhelmed with work and thus unable to timely respond. Majestic cleaned out the drain line (at a cost of $146) and said there was an issue with the primary and secondary drain lines. Apparently there was only one drain instead of two. He said the emergency drain pan was rusted through, and that he couldn't replace it without replacing the unit. Then he said he recommended that the whole system be replaced (at a cost of $7655) because of its age and the outside unit was making a lot of noise. So, I got a second opinion from my regular a/c guy. He was able to replace the drain pan and fix the problem causing the noise in the outside unit (a problem with the fan blade) and said the system would last another couple of years.

Justin did a very thorough job calculating size of systems required (which most other companies did not do) and explaining pros/cons/costs of various options. They also researched energy provider rebates for us and included in net price (most others didn’t mention rebates or stated we would have to apply for rebate ourselves); we ended up getting higher SEER systems for similar cost of less efficient systems net of rebates. Install team was on time and very professional (protected floors, cleaned up after work was done). Calls/emails were returned quickly and we received ETA updates whenever they were on the way. Good price and great experience! Highly recommended!

Vidal was informative and explained to us that we needed our capacitor replaced in addition to the coil clean. He showed us pictures and was able to complete the work onsite for a reasonable price.

Very well. The a/c and heating tech, Mr. Dolbee, patiently and professionally explained and answered my questions.

We flooded. Everything that had to do with what they put in is gone. We are kind of in shell shock right now. We only got to use it for a month. We called them and they came out and give us a quote. We picked them over the other companies. I only had them for a month and 5 and 1/2 feet of water came in and took everything away. They responded when we called them and they were on time. I wouldn't use them at that location again but I would use them again.

They installed our system five years ago, and do our service twice a year. I pay annually for two services a year. The price also includes two service calls throughout the year. They are dependable and on time. They do a good job. They have maintained the equipment very well and they installed it very well. I think they're price is competitive. I have been using them for five years. They know their business. My understanding is that they are the largest installer of Trane A/C and heating systems, which also includes American Standard. They know what they are doing and give you a good price. They have good, quality, people doing the job.

Chris Pines, manager, took charge and they all did a great job. They had accidentally forgot to call me back for two weeks and when Chris found out, they were out the next day with apologies. Meant a lot to me.

I called my Home Warranty Company and they sent out an HVAC repairman from their chosen company. The HVAC person representing my home warranty company told me that I needed several pounds of Freon and that my home warranty company would only cover a minimal amount towards the freon. They also told me that I actually needed a new air conditioner because even if I purchased the freon, my air conditioner was not going to perform effectively. The offered me a discounted price on a new air conditioner. I decided to get a second opinion. I called Majestic Air Conditioning as my husband and I had used them before. My husband liked them and suggested we get an opinion from them. The technician was a tall very polite young man. He looked at the unit and said the the coils were clogged and needed to be cleaned. He took my water hose and unclogged dirt that had gotten in the coils, This took about 10 minutes. The air conditioner worked perfectly and has since that time. The charge was less than $100.00 . While I can't speak for every technician at Majestic, I can say that the one they sent to me was professional, reliable and honest. He stands out in my mind as tops among all the technicians in any service industry that I have had the opportunity to hire. He served Majestic well! When I need HVAC service in the future, I will always call Majestic first.

I was very pleased that Derrick was able to come out the same day and he was extremely professional and intelligent. The unit is 18 years old and not worth repairing so he said he gave my information to Dustin/Justin who was supposed to contact me ASAP to set up a time to review our options for replacing the unit. This is south Texas in the summer and it is hot! This is the smaller of our 2 units, with the other one being equally old, so the potential for 2 new systems is very real. This was a Monday afternoon, and Tuesday was a holiday. HOWEVER, one week later and I have not received a phone call of any kind. Meanwhile my husband called another company and the unit has been replaced already. Guess they didn't want my business. I read a few similar comments of other reviewers but called them anyway. So disappointing because Derrick was great.

Called and explained to the company that my husband was dying and on hospice and really needed the cool air ASAP. Talked to a serviceman who said he would call me back and they would be right out. He forgot and two weeks later I talked to the manager, who was sincerely upset that they had not called back. Even the serviceman apologized to me profusely. They then came right out, had to go to great lengths to find a unit that wouldn't require re-doing the electricity and plumbing (due to the age of the unit). Fixed it right up and gave me a very deep discount to compensate for the time I waited. Mr. Pines was so nice. I can't say enough good things about them.

They came out filled up the freon and the technician notified me that I needed a new coil. He gave us a quote and the manager Chris gave us a discount on the coil. Now our AC is no longer leaking freon! Thanks again Majestic AC.

Another company had come out sent by American Home Shield. The previous company told me that I needed a new unit and begin to quote me the price of a new appropriate unit. I called Majestic for a second opinion. They came and the technician told me that may condenser coils were clogged. He got my water hose and unclogged the coils. The air conditioner began to work just fine. It has worked just fine since then. That was 2 years ago. My bill was less than $100.00
