I checked them out and I can't remember if it was Better Business Bureau. Nothing jumped out to not get a quote from them. Their quote was more competitive than another company quote. So what they didn't warn me is they were going to be digging trenches, and then there was clay where they used the machine, and they were going to shove the clay back in all the trenches. So, when they left, they did not top the rest with grass. Its an HOH control subdivision, you have to have your yard look good or you will get in trouble. They programmed it for 3:30 A.M., and it was ridiculous time. My mother lived in the house, and she didn't know it was coming on or not. When they programmed it, they didn't give it enough time. It took them about a week to come out to show my husband how to use it. They fail to put a battery in the controller, and when my mother lost the electricity to her home, the unit cleared out. She didn't know it but her lawn wasn't being irrigated, because there wasn't an back up battery. That was a ding against them. Leaving ruts, and not topping them with grass. Not putting an back up batter. Another ding was not having the irrigation on long enough. My husband asked why you didn't top it with grass. They said, the grass they dug up wasn't healthy enough. Well, if you would have hand dug it up, it would have been fine. They used a machine, and they destroyed it. I chose to go out and buy my own sod, and sod in all the places. I had to top it with good soil. I would have gladly paid $200 or $300 more if this issue would have come up; that they needed to be paid extra to top it. I would have gladly done that. They dropped the ball on numerous occasions.

My initial experience with Mike was impressive.  He looked over the system, answered my questions and listed the things that needed to be done.  He instructed me to tell the office staff what needed to be done so they would schedule enough time.  The tech came out, did some work and said he was out of time.  Only 2 hours had been allowed for the approximately 6 hour job.  The tech said he would tell the office staff how much more time he needed and they would call to schedule.  Two weeks later I still had not heard anything.  When I called, I was told they needed to talk to the tech and would call me back.  One week later I finally called them. I was told that a crew could come out that day to finish the job.  They didn't show up.
The work the tech did was good, he explained the repairs and made suggestions to improve our system.  It's too bad scheduling was such an ordeal.  I'll be looking for someone else to finish the job.

They fixed my sprinkler system that had been having issues for quite some time. They were informative and friendly throughout their service. I would highly recommend them!

I really liked everything about them. They were on time. They actually called the Thursday to let me know they could do the work a day earlier and if that was ok. They called to reconfirm on Friday and on Monday they called to let me know when they would be there. They kept be up to date on everything. I liked the fact that they were clean. They cleaned up after themselves as they went through stages as the supervisor would tell me Here is where we are at and this is what we are doing. They really had great communication. They came out twice now to make sure everything is working correctly and they provided a training class so we knew exactly how to use our system.

Everything went quite well. I had them replace a a few sprinkler heads broken by grass cutters a couple of years ago. Later I was turned off by the hard sell approach of some other "professional" services when I asked about checking for and fixing what appeared to be a valve leak and adding a backflow preventer to modernize the system. They talked major expense and work that appeared excessive. I was uncomfortable with their approach and decided to work the system manually. Eventually, losing grass and tiring of manual operation, I found and called M and D again. Francisco came out in a few days, spoke in a very straight and realistic manner. A simple test was recommended saying an initial observation approach was the economical way to start checking.for problems and to call in a few days to see if a more complex test was needed. In a few day,after getting a follow up call I said the next stage test was needed. This required adding a more complex valve and that would permit a variety of tests which Francisco did. The problem was fixed, a desired backflow prevention loop added, the system reprogrammed, and all for what I considered a very reasonable price. I would use them for other home services if they provided them.

Wonderful! I've been using this company for the past 3 years. They are friendly, punctual, and always do a great job. I gave a rough estimate as I can't find my last bill but they will give you a quote over the phone as to how much per hour and what repairs will cost.

We had a leak in the sprinkler system but could not tell where. We called the company. Minor complaint number 1: they could not come out for two weeks. We called a few other people, though, and that was about the norm. I guess the sprinkler business is good right now! When they did make it out they found the leak (in a valve several feet away from the wet spot - the water had been draining downhill and collecting in a low place). They were quick and thorough once they got here and seem to have fixed the problem. Minor complaint number 2: it was very difficult to get the company to commit to a time when their people would arrive at our house (even the morning of the service the best they could tell us was "in the afternoon"), and when we asked if we could get a call from the service team when they started heading over to our house, so we could have some notice, they got a little snippy with us. I know scheduling is tricky for them, but it is tricky for homeowners too.

Everything turned out fine. Their pricing was reasonable and lower than other estimates. I feel theirs was a fair price. They were one time, made sure people came and marked off the yard, and they kept me aware of everything. They also have a serivce to winterize and re-open the sprinklers. They showed up the same day I called.

The sprinklers have worked great during this dry summer. There were two small problems with the installation. The crew that installed the sprinklers trenched through two termite bait stations and apparently didn't even know that they did it. They did apologize after we told them about it and offered to replace them. Then the project manager was going to bring an extension cord to plug in the unit the next day, but he was unable to make it and did not call. The office did send the cord over the following day. Other than those two problems, the installation went smoothly and the sprinklers are working just fine.

Was very prompt arriving at agreed to time, was very qualified, and performed very good work.

Derrick was punctual, courteous, and professional. Work was done as promised plus some extra work without charge. Clean up and follow up is also excellent.

THE SERVICEMAN WAS ON TIME, POLITE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. QUICKLY DETERMINED SOURCE OF LEAK AND MADE THE CORRECT FIX. AREA THAT HAD A HISTORY OF BEING CONTINUALLY DAMP IS NOW DRY. VERY SATISFIED.
