Very pleased. The owner responded to my inquiry promptly, came to my home for an estimate, appeared confident in what he offered me, and acted like he wanted the job. The work was completed on time and as promised. There were no surprises, and Dan was very professional with me from start to finish. I was very pleased with his work and I would gladly hire him again.

I own a 3 story townhome in Houston built around 2001.  The ground floor was covered with the original builder grade ceramic tile that was cracked, broken, not attached to the floor, etc.  Dan was able to extract my vision for the floor from my vague and certainly confusing descriptions and produce an outstanding product.

We wanted a colorful addition to a childrens playroom, and something that was pleasing to our adult needs as well.  We were given an accurate estimate for the work performed, and within 2 days we received exactly what we asked for.  He was very professional and even came back 2 weeks later to touch up small areas.  We did not even request this, he is very proud of his work and it shows in the end.  Don't let the dred locks scare you, he is a very personable artist.

Wonderful!  Dan and Tammy are amazing -- very communicative, efficient, and really enjoy what they do.  I found Dan on this site about 3 years ago, got an estimate from him at that time.  Due to circumstances, we were not able to complete the first project until May this year.  He still had our old quotes and was still within the same pricing.  We will be hiring JD Creative Concrete for 2 more patios and for interior overlay flooring throughout our house.  We truly enjoy our experiences with the Jetzers!

Daniel came out promptly and provided a quote for the cost of the work to be done. They ground down the existing painted surface, filled cracks, resurfaced, and recoated the deck. New surface has a nice texture and color and looks graet.

Sadly disappointing. The new concrete, poured by a sub - Emilio Guillen, owner of Hunter's Concrete, was installed with a high clay soil base allowing a large amount of significant (1/8" - 1/4" wide) cracks to propagate in the entire surface despite ample rebar and pour depth (4"). Emilio's response was he didn't have any money to correct and Dan offerred to "do what he could". Ultimately, Dan grudgingly resurfaced the backyard deck (with additional funds from me) using a rubberized coating. The driveway remains uncorrected and continues to crack with the ultimate disposition likely to be strutural failure. The backyard deck continues to crack but the coating hides most of the unsightly cracks. The overlay on the walkway and front porch were simply a masterpiece; however, the failure of the driveway and backyard deck have left us unhappy. Dan did do "what he could" but ultimately we spent $18K on poor quality. Note to all: if you have a significantly expensive job always check for insurance. Dan says he now has it to cover problems like this. Too late for us though.

GREAT!!! We are very excited to get started on these projects! Dan set up a day for the estimate. He CALLED to say he was on his way and showed up exactly when he said he would. He came out a second time to meet with me as he had met with my fiance the first time. I found Dan to be engaging, knowledgeable and the best part? -- EXCITED about his work!!! This is important to us because we like to deal with people who are as excited about our projects as we are. He came with notepad, tape measure and photos of his work. Also very important! We walked the entire house and he took notes and measurements. Then we told him the bad news -- we would be doing this in "piece work" as we want to pay as we go and not take a loan. He was absolutely fine with that and, as long as he gets the work, we still get the discount. THIS IS VERY IMPRESSIVE! Our estimate for pouring a long "RV driveway," a new patio in an "L" shaped atrium, addition to an existing patio, a new second patio in the backyard, and completing a complex pattern overlay on all patios and interior floors (living room and hallways) is approximately $15,000. Dan got the estimates for all the work we would like to do by the next day. We will be hiring JD Creative Concrete for all our work and are already recommending them to our friends and family.

Things went very well. Dan responded to my call for a quote and came out to measure right away. His bid was less than half that of another Angie's List contractor that I called. Work was delayed while I had some sprinkler heads rerouted (and one ended up leaking and I had to go back and forth with the sprinkler company to convince them it was a problem) but this was beyond their control. It appeared to me that the work was farmed out to a subcontractor. The concrete looks fantastic. The clean up was lacking, though (I had to sweep a bunch of dirt from the street, there are small chunks of concrete debris remaining in the yard after removal of the wood framing, and there are concrete "stains" in the street that I assume will resolve over time but are unsightly nonetheless).

I learned of Dan Jetzer's company through an advertising flyer on our front door. Having already contacted several companies without a single call back, I did not hold out much hope. I could not have been more wrong. He provided an explanation of the process, ideas (no pressure) and a speedy, competitive quotation. Once we made our decision to "give him a try" on our walkway, the project was complete in no time at all. I was so pleased, I wanted to start the pool area immediately. I showed him a magazine photo of the look I was trying to achieve and off we went. Outside of the typical Houston rain, the project proceeded with no delays. He arrived promptly each day, advised his plans and progress and paid attention (unusual for most contractors) to what we wanted. The job was completed 2 days ago and I could simply not be happier. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a cost effective, decorative alternative to replacing an entire patio.
