I used Mr. Gordon based on the positive Google reviews. He was not very friendly and/or easy to deal with. He took 2.5 weeks to make a simple repair, I had to call him every 3 days to check on the status. His price was triple (3X!) what I could buy the same brand new custom made kitchen drawer on the Internet. When the drawer was finally ready, we went to pick it it up and the front finish was damaged. It looks like they spilled solvent on it. I will not use Mr. Gordon again.

They restored a 100 year old chair almost back to it’s original condition. Yes, I would use them again.

Mr. Gordon and his team were punctual, professional, and skilled artisans. The furniture is absolutely beautiful. It looks better than it did when it was new.

I called him up for an estimate. He was able to come out the next day. He arrived promptly, examined the furniture and gave me an estimate on the work. I gave him a down payment, they took the furniture to their workshop and completed the repairs. I went and inspected the repairs made (which were excellent) and paid for the repairs. We agreed on a delivery date and they delivered the furniture back to my home. It all went very smoothly.

From the first phone call, Mr Gordon was professional and responsive. An appointment was set up to see the furniture, he called prior to arrival and showed up on time. He was very knowledgable about the furniture itself. Was able to tell me the approximate age, the quality and suggested it was definitely worth refinishing. Both pieces looked so bad I wasn't sure it was worth doing. Because they were old family pieces I decided to go ahead the the work. Mr Gordon anticipated it taking 3-4 weeks to complete the job. Two weeks into this he called to ask if he could bring a sample of the finish for me to see. Again, he arrived on time, with one completed drawer. It looked fabulous.

The work was finished in about 3 1/2 weeks. I was astonished when I saw both pieces. The vanity looks brand new. A beautiful finish and instead of a back room it is now the main piece of furniture in my guest room. The original walnut finish was restored and the grain of the wood stands out. The mirror frame was repaired and is securely attached to the vanity.

The smoking table (a small cabinet with an open shelf below) also looks brand new. With a beautiful walnut finish I no longer feel I need to keep the piece hidden.

The price seemed steep but I know refinishing is a lot of work. And it included the repairs as well as pick up and delivery. Given the results I think it was fair. I would highly recommend this company and would most definitely use them again.

I have moved in to this area, in 1980 and he is in this business even before that. He is a very nice person and did a great job. He was prompt, took the chair repaired the same and brought it back on time. I highly recommend his services and will use the same in future.

He is very experienced and knowledgeable with regards to renovation. He knew of the period when my table was carved and knew what had to be done. I did not know what he would be doing but then he made it so simple. The table looks gorgeous. It was a bit expensive but I was willing to pay the price for the quality I got.
