On 4/21/17 I hired FairClaims Roofing (Spring location) to put a new roof on my home. They installed TPO on my flat roof without my consent. Since then I've experienced recurring roof leaks and was NOT satisfied with FairClaims' attempts at repair so I decided to get a third-party inspection. The roof inspection indicated improper installation of the TPO -- the TPO membrane was already lifting around the perimeter. I had a total of 3 inspections, each confirming a bad installation. The president & CEO, Justin O'Neal, cancelled each scheduled appointment to personally come look at my roof. He denied wrongdoing by FairClaims and basically minimized my situation by telling me that it was normal for my roof to leak since it was almost 1/3 of the way through its life. He refused to honor my warranty, and I was forced to hire $$$ another roofing company to fix my roof.

I have been working with Phil Ebner for a couple of years, until the insurance company finally approved a new roof. Phil is extremely professional and courteous. The team took two days to complete due to rain, but when complete it looks magnificent. The roof really stands out with nice craftmanship and detail. I highly recommend FairClaims Roofing and Construction for any roof repairs or roof replacement.

As a first time buyer I was told I needed a new roof and began contacting roofing companies for a quote. After 6 companies I was completely confuse about what I actually needed and unhappy with the reports provided to me by the other companies. I took a chance and called Phil Ebner and explain to him that I needed an inspection and quote on a new roof if it was necessary. Phil met us at the house and after his inspection he very clearly explained the condition of the roof, showed me pictures and explained that patching my old roof will not be effective. Based of Phil’s thoroughness and professionalism I made the decision to use Fairclaims Roofing and Construction. His reports were very detailed, easy to read with pictures and clearly explained the prices and recommendations. None of the other companies that had done the inspection on the home had half the information that Phil provided. Fairclaims Roofing and Construction got our business because of Phil Ebner.

Good job overall. Quality was good on roof. Occasional issue with responsiveness, but nothing too extreme. I'd hire them again.

The owner, Justin O'Neil, was two hours late for our second appointment. I hired them anyhow...because he was nice and there wasn't much choice due to the abundance of homes that were damaged at once. Their team was mostly on time and they like to have fun but they did not speak English and they rarely worked more than 6 to 7 hours a day. Then, the supervisor, who was also nice but more of a translator, complained it was taking too long. After I thought they finished up and we paid them...they came back to look at but not do imporant warranty repairs. They didn't seem interested in investigating the bubbles in the wood/paint of our fireplace (pictured). We originally contracted with them to fix both fireplaces...completely. They were concerned about speed but not accuracy. They had to be pushed to complete work with "excellence" and I became the default quality control police (since no one else did this job). I feel their team doesn't care beyond a pay check. They moved furniture and did most everything as if they were in a race. They scratched up our 6 mos. old wood flooring (pictures and I have worse on my phone), put dinges in our antique furniture, used oil paint over trim areas that should have had some preperation, sometimes neglected special instructions, our ceiling was still leaking after completion of repairs (hope they fixed it...still concerned), they broke glass that was in our kitchen cabinets...after being asked to be very careful, spent a day painting the kitchen trim with the wrong color (after being reminded to get the right color)...had to redo, broke our kitchen sink sprayer and denied it but did replace it (we paid for the new sprayer), damaged a leather chair, got brown paint on our den carpetting (didn't like to tape off), didn't repair our siding and flashing properly and the house still leaks, didn't alert me that paint might not match old paint...left it for me to notice on my own, didn't know how to cut 90 degree angles on 3/4" lip trim...so I gave them a lesson and they had to fill in the holes (pictures). The list of negligence is about as long as my arm. They couldn't even float the drywall, for the ceiling repair, and it looked terrible. We had to buy ceiling tiles and after days of hiring someone else to try and fix their ceiling blunder (since they tried to convince me it looks the best it can) we saw no improvement. We finally searched and asked them to install ceiling tiles instead of the huge mess of starting over. It ended up costing us over $1,000.00 more for the celing repair and tiles. We didn't trying to get anything free but it's rediculous that we still have repairs hanging over our heads...repairs we trusted Fair Claims to do with excellence. Rushing in and hoping to finish fast without concern for the details is not a good approach and mistakes will be made. They even asked me to run out and get tape, caulking, extra paint, and hard to locate trim (because they busted the old trim up but didn't bother to tell me so I had time). I didn't mind helping out and I was probably going to the store anyhow, but appreciation was not felt and it was really not my job to buy their supplies. I just wanted them out of my home at a certain point. I also hoped to just leave positive reviews and move on. I wanted to end well and try to look at positive outcome. But they didn't end well. I think we snapped when the warranty work was being ignored. I'm not chasing them around. The supervisor, Dario, was forgetful and easy going about the finished product and the details. This didn't give me confidence in his abilities as a supervisor. I felt I had no choice if we wanted our 600K home to look better than an apartment repair. Some pictures show areas before they fixed the bad work...but not until I insisted. Justin, the owner, told me I shouldn't have left negative feedback because they worked their butts off for us. So, if they work for you and you pay them...I guess you have to like whatever happens or whatever they decide to do for you? We live in our home every day and we can spot the mistakes...some I've had to fix. So details do matter to those who care. Unfortunately, we're not feeling like the FairClaims team actually does care. You can teach someone to work with tools but you can't teach them to care. This is one take-away lesson.

"Some customers you wish you just had never taken... This is all interior repairs, trim, and paint work as well as some siding and roofing repairs outside. This customer changes moods and opinions as often as the air turns on in the summer. I have numerous text messages from this customer showing how happy and pleased they were with our work when it was complete. We went out of our way and redid work several times to make this customer happy. Ultimately they were. This home is 30yrs old and has typical wear on things and in places you would expect a 30yr old home to have. This customer looks for things to be wrong and in a lot of cases were outside our scope of work or unrelated to our work. She fails to mention that the ceiling texture work that she ultimately wanted us to cover in ceiling tiles was to cover up a different contractors work she brought in during our project to redo our work that she also didn’t like before allowing us a chance to redo the texture ourself. She was also indecisive and overbearing where our crew couldn’t work in a normal setting that caused the project to take double the time it would have normally taken. We always warranty our work and want satisfied customers but can’t warranty things that aren’t wrong, correctable, or not related to the work we were hired to do."

FairClaims did an outstanding job from sales to quote to completion. The project was complete on time and on budget. The team arrived early and worked until dusk. The spread protective coverings over the deck, pool, and other places. Cleanup was thorough. The end result looks great! All in all, I could not have been more pleased with the results. I highly recommend FairClaims for roofing needs.

I started out with a positive outlook with this company and for the most part they did a really good job. In the beginning, the first consultant effectively communicated with me and kept me in the loop and due to a situation the first consultant had, another consultant took over. The second consultant was lacking in communicating with me and did not start the job on time. I had to hunt him down and find out why. I let that go because I understand, things come up and it was related to rain delays from the past week. My roofing job was rescheduled for a Monday and when I got home, the roof is almost complete however it’s the wrong shingle color. I contacted the consultant, which he apologized and offered a silly discount, it was insulting. The shingle that was used was not a bad color it’s just not what I wanted or paid for. At the same time, I could have requested this company start over but I felt that was a waste and a burden not only for me but for this company as well. On Tuesday, I called the owner and explained the issue. The owner was genuine and understood my frustrations about the issue at hand. We discussed a resolution and he made things right. Based on the first consultant’s performance, the owner’s performance and how well the job turned out, even though I had a frustrating experience with the 2nd consultant, I am going to give this company the props they deserve and based on the responsiveness of the owner, I would recommend them to other people.

Excellent. Approximately 3800 sq. ft of roofing replaced in 1.5 days. Friendly, informative, and quick dealings with the company reps, and very efficient and professional installation crew. Got exactly what I wanted at a fair and reasonable price. All damaged wood was replaced before underlayment was applied. All shingles were hand nailed (no nail guns), with six nails per shingle. All flashing and stacks were replaced, and the caulking was well done. No damage to existing guttering (crew was very meticulous about not resting ladders on guttering without protecting the gutter). Excellent clean up after roof was finished. 5 days from buying plan through Angie`s list to finished roof installed! I highly recommend Fairclaims Roofing & Construction.

We are very pleased with the work done. The roof looks beautiful. It's obvious that the materials are great quality and I absolutely love driving up to my home and seeing it. It looks great. -Cary White was fantastic. He kept me in the loop; he was punctual and very helpful.-Although I did a lot of research, this is the first time I have ever gotten a roof. Cary's expertise was valuable, helpful and insightful. He was very flexible and worked around my schedule.

The job went well without any issues. The crews were very professional and efficient. It was a long job (4 days), but the crews cleaned up each evening. When they were complete, there was no mess to clean up, only one or two nails around the house (pretty amazing), no damage to the landscape, no trash in the pool,.etc. The sales VP Kiel listened to what I wanted for and attic ventilation redesign, and came up with a very cost effective solution that will add much more air flow through the attic. We also included a higher grade impact resistant shingle for a 10% price upgrade. But I have already applied for a homeowner's rate discount that should offset the additional cost over time. It also came with a product warranty (that includes labor) should the shingles fail prematurely. We had a few spots in the ceiling that had some percussion cracks from the hammering. Their interior repair crew will be here tomorrow to repair and paint the trouble spots. All in all, I couldn't be more pleased. I had talked to at least 6 roofing companies (most included on Angie's List), but did not the price, service, or warranty that was provided by Fairclaims Roofing. They get top marks in my book.

Travis and his team did an excellent job on our new roof. Travis is very attentive and always keeps you informed as to what is happening with the project. You just call or text him with any questions and he immediately responds. The work was done efficiently and the crew left the jobsite as clean as when they arrived. You would not have known anybody had been working. Very pleased with the new roof,

Excellent professional services. We received three quotes and this company was the most reasonable. Jon Samuel provided information on the initial quote and answers many of my questions in detail. Once the shingles were removed, they discovered additional damage and immediately contacted me on the additional costs. Even with the added costs, this company was still reasonable compared to the other two quotes that were initially obtained. Also, they provided pictures of the damaged.
