I went to the shop about 11;30 a.m., to have one nail repaired and change the color. The fellow at the front desk, after taking his time, didn't even listen to what I wanted done. He sent me over to a VERY rude and unprofessional nail tech whom couldn't even understand English. I couldn't understand a word she was saying with/without her mask. I had just had back surgery in June, and wasn't relaxing enough for her, so she said. I was trying hard to sit still, but she gave me a chair on wheels, which eventually a young man who worked there understood everybody else had, so he kindly switched chairs for me to be more comfortable. He also kept having to translate to her everything I had to say. She cut off MY nails that was in good shape except for one cracked one, which upset me totally because she had to glue on fake tips :(( Then she wanted to cut the tips short, as she told me that was why one cracked. I have been a licensed nail tech since 1996, and know what has to be done. Not cutting off all of my nails and putting on a set of FAKE tips with acrylic. I told her I didn't want nubs, as they are easier to do and a lot less work!! She couldn't get the length right, I had to tell the fellow working next to her to tell her each time to get the correct length. She worked aggressively after applying the tips/acrylic, and kept having to fix her imperfection's. Then when it came to filing to shape them she got out a new course file. She cut me on the very first finger with the file, which it bled a lot during the rest of the apt. I told her to just stop, I was ready to get up and walk out without being done, but another girl came over and seen what happened and asked her something I didn't understand/Vietnamese, so she, the nice girl, began to massage my shoulders as I was so upset I was crying. She told me about specials if I came back, which I knew then I would NEVER go back there or refer anyone else to go there!! The girl working on me, her name was Amy I think, because I couldn't understand anyway, but I think that's what the other girl called her, finally finished with he help of the other girl, my nails were thick and wide which I didn't like. That was the very first thing I told her when she cut off MY real nails, I don't like thick and wide nails. To end with she charged me $50, which the brochure said a full set was $45, but she said it was another $5 since I had long nails!! My nails were not that long, they looked long because I have really long nail beds!! I had all along watching two other customers getting their nails done, that were the same as mine. Anyway I just wanted to get out of their before I said something not very nice. Not just me, but the others were complaining also. One big woman demanding her pedicure done over for the way it turned out as well as her getting an ingrown toe nail. She actually did get LOUD. I paid her the $50 plus for some idiotic reason I gave her a $5 tip, which was meant to make her feel I wasn't as LOW as she was.

They are able to joke around with you during the appointment. They are nice and friendly. They do foot and hands, waxing, massages, everything you would need. They use a salt to exfoliate your legs and then use a wax afterwards. You go out feeling so relaxed.
Description of Work: I have previously seen James but he has now left the facility so I just see Stephen to do my nails.
